Great looking like the originals but sizing ran small for me.by M. Loomis (3 out of 5 stars)

I had a pair 30 years ago and decided to get a new set for an upcoming trip. I'm typically a size 10.5-11 in regular shoes so I went with the larges. I also picked up a set of leashes as others recommended them. Upon opening, they look pretty much exactly like my original pair back in the day. When I used them on my trip though, they were extremely tight and left red marks and indentions across the tops of my feet. They were so tight in fact, that I didn't need to spend the extra money on the leashes. At this point I'm not eligible for a return, so I think that I'll look for some Lycra socks to ease the pain on future outings. I'd definitely recommend the next size up and even if they're a bit too big, you can always wear booties with them.
worked well

I'm the first-time fin user, so I can't draw any deep comparisons, but I can tell that these fins worked for me. (Unlike US Divers that fell apart when entering the water for the first time). Swimming with fins takes some getting used to and they don't feel like much but then I've realized that with fins I can easily go against the current where without fins it took all my effort to do that. The sizes are marked a bit optimistic: I wear shoes size 8.5 (wide-ish), and I've bought the fins size L meaning to use them with aquasocks. In reality the fins size L are about right (maybe very slightly loose) on bare feet, a little too tight but bearable for a limited time with aquasocks (don't know, maybe they will stretch with repeated use).
Perfect travel fin for Kona

Bought these for trip to Kona and used for both boogie boarding and snorkeling. They arrived quickly in the mail. Size large is perfect for my size 10.5 feet. No sore spots on bare feet with daily use. Drain hole completely empties sand within a few kicks. Because these fins are short, they fit well in a carry-on luggage bag or beach bag. Agile when catching waves. Snug fit never close to coming off in wipe outs. Worked well for snorkeling. My longer scuba fins are more efficient moving thru the water but less convenient. All things considered, I could not be happier. They seem quite durable. And they did float in salt water.
Da best fin

Most comfortable foot pocket of all the fins I've ever tried on, and that is the most important thing when it comes to fins. Been using fins like this since 1970, and have still tried on many other brands. The blade design doesn't really matter much. Been body surfing, knee boarding and body boarding for almost 50 years. This fin is inexpensive and works great.
Heavy bodysurfing or boogie board fins.

Heavy bodysurfing or boogie board fins. More suitable for the largest surf. Too heavy and powerful for swimming pool laps. Very durable synthetic rubber construction is stiff; hard to put these on and take off on 10' waves. They do not float: use keeper straps with Churchill fins.
The Best!

I've had a couple pairs of these over the years-- just a great pair of fins. Comfortable, not too stiff, and they stay on! I looked around at a bunch of other brands, but stayed with Churchill. I would definitely recommend them!

They make me swim faster

These fins replaced some that were over 30 years old. The rubber in the originals finally deteriorated. The originals were made in Malaysia, the new ones are made in China. They function just as well. I hope they last as long. I'll do an update in 30 years.

After 37 years my husband finally had to replace his original Makapuu fins... still a good quality fin.

I dont believe these are authentic Curchills. They dont fit like my real pair and the rubber is an inferior quality. I will be returning them as soon as I get back from vacation
