This was easily gift-able, and the packaging was very secure and professional. The biggest issue that I had with this product was that after one use, where they were left in a glass tumbler of room-temperature Bourbon for less than 10 hours (after a night of drinking) they had rusted through and tainted what remained in the glass. They were unusable after one use. I was disappointed that this gift was so quickly ruined. Had no idea that they wouldn't last more than a few hours.

So we tried these in a glass of room temperature scotch and it got cold but not as cold as ice makes it. We used all 6 in one glass and by the time the scotch was gone the bullets were warm. So the next glass of scotch had to use ice cubes. You would need like 40 of these things each night to have cold drinks. I will say that you really get to taste the flavor of the scotch when using these instead of ice because it doesnt water it down.

Just had a glass of scotch with these yesterday and they worked wonders. Friends love them, and I get to enjoy two of my passions (firearms and scotch) at the same time, in a safe way!

For comparison for any other gun aficionados out there, these are about the size of a 7.62x39, maybe a little bit shorter. I don't think they're actually modeled after an actual cartridge, but instead just meant to look like it.

And they are a novelty at best. Do not expect even all six together to chill a small drink of 2-3 ounces. They simply lack the cold mass to be effective or efficient.

Great idea. Great shape. Very bad cooling. If you want show them in the glass they are a perfect thing. If you need them to cool now the whiskey than look somewhere else
