I wasn't sure what to expect in this, but with family coming for the holidays I decided to give it a try. We have had a LOT of fun with this! The cards allow us to play in teams or individually and with so many to choose from there was always something to do. The best part is that both the adults and the kids have fun. Most of the games we have played involve drawing of some sort because of little ones wanting to play. The cards range in game play so you can modify it to the crowd involved. Because you have a LOT of cards to choose from, you don't have to worry about not finding something that everyone can play. Even the little ones started adapting the games to fit their abilities. I highly recommend :)

This was purchased to be a White Elephant gift for my family's annual Christmas gift exchange. My 20-something nephew ended up getting the game, and we played a couple different rounds with a group of about 5-6 of us. It was fun, and different in that we had to be pretty creative. You have a choice to compete in teams or as individuals and we chose the latter. I would have liked to play more rounds but there was a lot of stuff going on w/various family activities so we only played twice. The quality of the game material is very good, and I'd recommend this to anyone who loves creative, think-out-of-the-box games!

Fun for the family and the classroom!

This game is a lot of fun. It has a good variety of games in it that makes every time feel unique and fresh. I am a school teacher and use many of these games with my classes now. They love them! It's a great way to use all the scrap paper in the recycling bin and really get their brains and their bodies working. It's a nice break from the normal school day routine. I know this isn't it's intended purpose, but I do love using these games in a classroom setting. Most of them only need minor adjustments to work for a class.

These games are dynamic, flexible, and straight-forward. The directions are easy to follow and the possibilities for fun are limitless. Big groups, small groups, kids or adults. These games will never get boring.

I bought this game for a gathering of friends and family who did not all know each other well. We had a group of 13 ranging in age from 72 to 9 and EVERYONE enjoyed the games. One real benefit is that each game is quick so no one is stuck playing something they don't like for very long. Overall, it was a great icebreaker for a large group and something we plan to play again and again.

I have a friend who is a child care provider for a small hand full of children at any given time, a game lover, & ecologically conscious (amongst other things). This sounded like it would be right up her ally. Once her presents were open, she immediately wanted to play with this. She spread out the game choices on a table & one person would pick a game, we'd play, then the next person chose the next game. We had about a dozen people aged 7-gramma/grandpa & everyone had a BLAST! My cheeks hurt from laughing so hard! Now I'm going to have to get one for myself as well! Both my friend & I are also very happy that a tree is planted for buying this, too! I've already received an e-mail from Barry and Jason, the creators of Game Night in a Can, to confirm that the tree has been planted! The games are innocent enough for anyone, but if you're playing with a bunch of dirty minds, the games can go that way, as well. An example: The Game: Break up into teams & write a Presidental speech-what is your platform/what do you stand for? The reader will read the speeches in their best campaign voice & decide the winner. The Play: You can break into groups however you want - 2 groups of 1 if you have 3 players or as many teams of however many #s of people you need to & you can be very serious & political sticking to current hot issues, wacky with a promise to build a death star to destroy nefarious neer-do-wells & put a kitten in every bed (yup, that was the winner in our game), naughty with suggestive campaign promises, or whatever ideas come into your head. This is truly a great game purchase no matter whom you are buying for!

GREAT FOR ALL AGES

We live in Utah and the youngest of our 4 children has to drive from Northern part of Utah. Everyone here Christmas Eve, games weren't even opened because there was a massive snow storm coming our way. Son and wife and 3 kids (19, 17, &12) left to try and miss the storm. I got a call about 9 pm saying too much snow, too many accidents, too many emergency vehicles so they decided to take the first exit. Found a hotel and spent the evening playing GAME NIGHT IN A CAN! They said it was great fun and were much relieved by laughing and not worrying about the next 45 miles. We should probably buy one for ourselves, we do have friends who would probably love it! Thanks

Creativity in a Can

Played the game with our friends, there were 4 adults, two 12 yo boys. We laughed so hard, the things the boys came up with were priceless, so creative. The other mom snapped photos of the answers to share with friends. Really, really fun. It's best played with a crowd, minimum of 6 players.

Creative and fun games that encourage you to think out of the box (or can). This game set is great because the family makes its own fun after getting direction from the cards. The can bowling game was a great example of low tech enagagenent that is so hard to come by with my teen kids. Played it during the summer on a rainy day and it was one of the best days of the vacation
