This is a great way to serve steak. We heat the stones up on the grill. Allow about 40 minutes to heat up the stones. It great for entertain a small group. We bought two stones and they are large enough for each couple to share the stone to cook their steaks. We sear the steaks and cut them on the diagonal in about 1/4" slices. Be sure to use butter or a steak sauce on the stone before cooking so the food doesn't stick.

These were great! I bought two of them as a gift for my husband and we've used them several times...mostly for steak. Plan to get a few more for entertaining. And Customer Service was awesome!

I purchased two of these sets for myself and my mother. They were shipped and arrived quickly, undamaged. The design of the tray is very nice and layed out to my liking. I like that the serving try has grooves for everything to fit into so things don't slide around as you're carrying or cutting food.

We used them for the first time tonight. Upon reading the instruction booklet, it stated to heat the oven to 250 degrees and leave the stones in there for 30-40 minutes and not to heat the oven over 275. I recalled reading the description before purchasing that stated to heat the oven to 500 degrees. After researching on the website, it was in fact 500 degrees.

Once the stones were heating to the correct temperature, the meat seared beautifully on the bottom. I feel the stone didn't stay hot enough to cook as long as I would have liked. But overall, apart from the directions mishap, I would recommend this product for those not wanting to cook a huge steak.
