Seems to be holding up great, it hangs off my belt everyday and holds ...

Been using this for about a month now. Seems to be holding up great, it hangs off my belt everyday and holds 4 keys two on each side aside from some water stains it's in great condition.

Next generation of key management, indeed.(EDIT)
by Tekkhar (3 out of 5 stars)

It's a brilliant idea, but the execution is about 90% there. The carabiner clip is pretty thin, and might be susceptible to breakage. In addition, the hole for the keyrings is positioned in such a way that it blocks easy deployment of the rings fastened closest to it when there is something looped through, which is only partially mitigated by flipping the securing bar. However, this inconvenience offset by the fact that this is a fantastic tool. It's a bit pricey, but the fact that it is a solid chunk of steel that holds all of your keys close together is well worth it. Oddly, this piece features a bottle opener. The version I got has a hooked notch, rather than a square one, though the profile of the piece remains unchanged.

I know I will love this tool. I did some research and found that the company that designs and manufactures these clips has other similar products, including a key clip that appears superior to this one.

EDIT: After using this item for some time, the issues become clearer. Namely, the belt clip bends fairly easily, the screws have a habit of unscrewing (and appear to have a proprietary threading, making replacement difficult), and the screw bases do not appear to have been stamped in as well as they could have been. I accidentally knocked out one of them, and ended up hammering the other one out and replacing the proprietary screw holders with screws and endcaps. This leaves a piece of metal with a flimsy clip. This thing would be a great $10 dollar purchase. It's simply not refined enough to cost $20.

Not that great.

It was not delivered as advertised. The additional parts for it are not available. ( I even tried to email the company from their page. ) I ended up having to go to a bolt shop and buying the parts to make it work. The rubber washers break and get lost and the original screws that come with it get loose and fall out, leaving your keys falling out and going everywhere --- and for me, this happened in the dark on my porch.

Nothing special, but does work to an extent

Okay so here's the thing. I reasarched the crap out of this product, reading all the reviews and was fully aware of what I was getting into. So therefor I cannot reasonably give it less stars while already knowing a bunch of people did not like it.

First off, you are paying $20 sheerly for aesthetic purposes. The cons outweigh the pros for such a tiny piece of metal. It is about the height of a credit card and about a thumb nail short of width.

Lets start with the most important part, the keys. Yeah, your out of luck if you have more 4 normal keys on here. Shoving more than 2 on each side is sometimes pesky to manouver and feels awkward. There are tiny rubber washers that come with it so that both sides can sit flush. This product is great if your purpose for it involves 2-4 keys. If not you might wanna go worh something else.

The one I originally wanted had a money clip on it which looked very similar to this. Unfortunatly when I tried to buy it I was brought to Kickstarter. That would be a great bonus if this will continue to be $20. This product would be a lot more efficient with the keychain hole further away from the keys as well. My caribeaner is fine and while it feels very brittle, I don't see it breaking any time soon. Really cool product and is very appealing, but it needs a bonus pair of longer screws to lock in keys.

TLDR:

PROS:
-Very Light
-Minimalist
-Good looking product
-Carribeaner option
-Keychain hole option

CONS:
-Barely can hold six keys
-Awkwardly thin carrabeaner that has broken for a lot of reviewers
-Expensive for what it offers
-Using keychain hole makes extracting a key from that side harder/or impossible

Interesting device. Certainly convenient.
by KRA (4 out of 5 stars)

I'm not sure what to make of this device. It certainly makes carrying keys that you might need handy and neatly organized, but I'm not so sold on its convenience of storing keys that one might regularly use. Why? Well, there is the matter of "pushing/ sliding" out the key you need and then aligning the entire gadget to the keyhole. It feels like I might damage the key or device while unlocking. Not sure why, but it seems a concern. It is a little awkward and might just require an adjustment period. My specific use case makes this device handy though as I use keyless devices. I intend to use this to simple keep/store keys that I need on my person at all times. I think it will do a fine job of that. I can understand the problems with the carabiner attachment. The closing mechanism does seem a little flimsy. Only time will tell if it will become an issue for me.

Flimsy carabiner but more than anything just struggling to see what value it adds
by Raf (2 out of 5 stars)
February 12, 2017

I don't get this. What is the upside of this thing?

The carabiner is flimsy: held by a tiny spring and seems easily breakable. The rest of this thing seems thick enough to take a direct hit from a tank shell but I didn't wake up one morning and think "I would like my keys to survive the nuclear apocalypse" (if you would, and you don't need a carabiner in this post-apocalyptic world, then buy now).

By default it can only hold 4 keys (and is itself as thick as two keys). I don't know why but I was expecting 6 keys (probably my error) - any more than 4 requires optional extensions.

There were no instructions as part of the packaging and online instructions are 'minimalist' - with no explanation on how to get the screw tensions right that I could find. And it is easy to get it too loose (screws will come off during use) or too tight (unwieldy). It also seems to unfasten as it is used.

Do you really need one if you only have four keys? What does the extra thickness and width (keys will still stick out from the side) buy you? Why have a carabiner you can't trust? What innovation does it introduce in terms of the fastening mechanism for the keys (screw+rubber washers)? Confused.

The bottle opener works great but overall you will have less weight and bulk and a more robust solution if you just get a small bottle opener and add it to four keys dangling off a 25c keychain. Like I said, I may just be missing the use case, and if you can see what I am missing, then the only problem with this thing is the carabiner.

This product exceeded my expectations, I knew when I bought it that it would be cool, functional, and uncomplicated. And based on the images I felt like I knew exactly what I was getting. But upon receiving it and having used it for about a month now, I'm happy to say that I've been exceptionally pleased and surprised with the build quality. I fully expect to purchase a few more as gifts in the near future.

Modern / Sleek / Durable

Shocked to find this product on amazon. I was one of the original backers when this product was looking from funding in KS.

I needed a replacement and with the free amazon 2 day shipping I couldnt have asked for more.

The product is the same as my original sleek looking and great for anyone. It is a pain to setup but after that its smooth sailing. The only reason i had to buy another one was because I lost the first one.....

Great idea / poor construction
by Jesus G. (3 out of 5 stars)
November 4, 2017

I don't normally handout reviews but lately I've decided I should bc It's the first thing I look at. The more reviews the better a person can choose. Anyway the idea behind the product is great & it really does help consolidate your keys if you have a bunch that's why I'm giving it 3 stars and not 1. The reason I am in satisfied is because I paid $20 for poor construction. The clip part bent easily within the first week or so and was constantly bending with the slightest thing. Then 3 weeks later the thing finally gave up and broke. Now I'm back to putting it in my pocket rather than clipping off of the belt holster.
