• JVCC FLOCK-1 Flocking Tape is a black cotton flock non-woven product with an adhesive coating on one side and denser than traditional felt tape. This product will make a great replacement for velvet. Available in adhesive coins, dots, and 25-foot rolls ranging in sizes 1/2 inch to 4 inches wide.
• Flocking tape can be used for several non-entertainment related applications such as an abrasion-resistant substrate and sliding surface for noise reduction (anti-squeak) and dampening, basic surface separation (padding furniture feet), scratch prevention, and rattle noise reduction. It is often used in automobile dash interiors to keep parts from rubbing together and making noise.
• For the entertainment industry FLOCK-1 flocking tape can be easily applied around the edges of a wall screen to provide a definitive non-reflective border frame, which gives a more finished and professional appearance.
• Because JVCC FLOCK-1 Flocking Tape is non-reflective the border frame will provide an extra perception of brightness and will focus the viewer's attention to the screen.
• Carrier/Backing: non-woven acrylic flock. Adhesive: synthetic polymer. Release Liner: bleached Kraft paper. Thickness: 26 mils (carrier, adhesive, liner) 20 mils (carrier, adhesive) 6 mils (liner). Adhesion: 115 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel).
