In Star Wars Episode VI, Return of the Jedi, Luke Skywalker confronts Jabba the Hutt in his palace and gets dropped into a pit to face Rancor along with one of Jabba’s Gamorrean Guards. Re-enact this climactic scene with the Rancor Rumble Play Set. Use the lever to drive the Gamorrean Guard character car up the ramp to the palace then spin the dial on top to reveal Jabba the Hutt. Hesitate and the trap door will send you into the pit. You can defeat the Rancor creature only if you zoom past without being eaten. The Rancor is enormous and can eat a Hot Wheels character car, no problem! The track set includes a trap door to the pit and an exclusive Gamorrean Guard character car for hours of imaginative play.

The track connects to other setups, however the playability in relation to other sets is nil. Our son enjoyed watching Rancor eat the cars, however the limiting nature of the play set caused him to quickly loose interest and go back to older tows. If you find it on sale, grab it, other wise I would go with a more functional set.

this was a Christmas gift for my four year old nephew who loves hot wheels and star wars....I'm certain he didn't know who rancor is but he really liked it.....it was easy to put together and did come with a car so he could play with it right away.....
