I want to love it, it's very bright, the motor is quiet..........but if only it had a adjustment for the speed, or it was slower. The other video reviews of this product don't quite seem to capture just how fast this thing is, or maybe just mine is faster. The speed that the lens turns is so fast that the only way that I could see enjoying it would be all hopped up on coke and extacy, seriously it's almost a barf inducing effect with the lights swirling around as fast as they are, and I'm a fan of bright flashy led lights, I'm just disappointed in this. Luckily it wasn't so expensive that it's going to ruin my whole week. I shouldn't say that its bad, just be aware that the speed of the spinning lights is very fast, I would say approximately 10x faster than a "disco" ball spins.

CHEESY, and cheaply made. Pony up $10 or $20 more, and buy a plug in disco ball. There is nothing "premium" about it. It's not worth my time to send it back, after it lasted 5 minutes and the cover spun off, losing the top piece, and unable to be put back together. Thank God I had bought a different product for back up, that you can see in another review. It has 3 tiny LEDs, and only spins at one speed. I guess you get what you pay for.

This bulb is awesome, it eliminates the need for multiple lights. It is basic as it comes, no strobe, and it won't change patterns or match the music. But in my opinion that's just less stuff for the average joe to worry about and make adjustments to.

Perfect for Dance Parties At Home!

I have three kids, 2 teenagers and a 10 year old, and every one of them loves to dance. They love to swing dance especially and practice at home with their friends frequently. They often have parties at the house and uniformly, the kids end up dancing. When I saw the Riun Ex Premium Rotating LED Strobe Bulb Party Light, I thought it would be perfect for taking my kids' dance parties to the next level. We love it!

WHAT IS IN THE BOX: One LED strobe bulb that is larger than a typical light bulb though it fits in a standard light fixture. The inside element emits colored light and the bottom portion of the crystal cut looking bulb spins slowly creating revolving light patterns like a kaleidoscope.

WHAT I LIKE:
* I originally intended to put this bulb in the ceiling light fixture (attached to the ceiling fan) but it was too big. So I grabbed a cheap clip on light fixture I got to use with our chickens ($6 at the feed store in the Spring) and it worked even better because now, clipped to a curtain rod, the bulb splatters light patterns across the entire living room. It completely fills the room with dancing light!
* My kids love this bulb. With the flick of a switch our living room looks like a dance hall.
* Because this bulb fits into any normal light fixture, it is portable and can be used pretty much anywhere.
* LED lights don't generate heat and they last a long time.
* This light bulb was so much more affordable than a disco ball. (I've priced them.)
* It is just a lot of fun.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE:
* I have not found a single thing I do not like about this bulb. Although I was disappointed at first about it not fitting into the light fixture, that ended up being fortuitous because the clip on light fixture was a much better place for the bulb.

I ordered this with of course my little kids in mind. I do have a teen as well, so I realized quickly everyone could get a real joy from this cool LED strobe light! We tested it out in so many places, and really am thrilled it can go into any light socket. The kids were so excited about it, they camped out together in one room using it as a "night light". Of course I turned it off when they fell asleep only to hear "mommy why did you turn off our night light". Now they BOTH want this as their night light, and have been sleeping in one room -because you can not just give it to one child. Which then turned into alternating rooms. One night my daughter can have it, the next night the other! I suppose that we will have to order several more because my teen said, it would be best to just let him have it to settle it between the two little kids! So even he thinks it is "cool"!

It strobes red, green and blue lights and is FUN! We have had disco fever night, with dancing, and we just had two birthdays in a row! I am going to need to order a few more, but it is certainly worth the smiles, giggle, and laughter this brings! I was able to order this at a promotional price in exchange for my honest unbiased opinion. All opinions are my own and have not been influenced in any way.

Instant dance fun or creating a neat atmosphere for a party.

Party LED strobe bulb works so well. Screwed the bulb into a light fixture and also into one of our recessed ceiling lighting fixtures and kids had a blast. We tried it first for a mini dance party then it turned into using for every dance party and sleepover fun. So easy to create a good time without those machine ones that take up space. Using it for our front porch light to show off our Halloween decorations in October. The colors are vibrant and fun and have a good motion to them. Made my own container for storing it so it does not crack being stored. Like that my older daughters can just put it in to a fixture to create a neat atmosphere. Us adults have taken it over as well and I brought it to a neighbor party we attended. The strobe light was a big hit. The"disco" ball part pins over the actual light itself. Pretty ingenious fixture. Does not need to be pitch black to work well. Just a little darker room and it gives off quite the light show of colors.
