Great price, Not safe, NOT RECOMMENDED for "Nerf Wars"

These are not a good replacement for Nerf darts. I got dart guns for several of my nephews for Christmas and purchased these so they'd have plenty of ammo. After a few outbursts and tears, we found pretty nasty looking bruises, and the toys were confiscated. The older teens kept blaming the "hard darts," which we naturally dismissed as an excuse. However, they were right. The rubber/plastic tips on these darts are much harder than the name-brand darts, and were leaving welts on the skin. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

These are AWESOME! I'm having a NERF birthday party sleepover for my boys birthday and wanted to have plenty of ammo and after seeing the NERF prices I settled on LITTLE VALENTINE brand foam darts. I made a "target practice" out of a Styrofoam, golf tees and practice golf balls. We've been having a blast shooting them with these darts. They have a hard tip so I'm making everyone wear eye protection. I've shot my children and they don't hurt.. "no above the shoulder shots" or close range. All I'm all a good value and sturdy darts... I've used them in my NERF brand guns and my generic guns without a problem. *I think I need to order more!

I'm very happy with these! We host Nerf wars a lot and go through a lot of ammo. I was hesitant about buying off brand, but they work perfectly in the guns. The tips feel a little harder, but my son and I "tested" these. I let him shoot me in the back from a close range, and tried to feel the difference between this and a Nerf brand dart. I couldn't feel a difference, so I tried it on him. He said they both felt the same. I'll be buying these from now on!

Tips are harder than regular nerf bullets

After shooting my kids enough and they kept complaining that it hurt I decided to shoot myself from arms length to the inside thigh while sitting down.

I had 6 white nerf bullets that came with the white stryfe and these blue ones and the blue bullets do hurt more. They dont hurt a ton more, but you do notice the difference when shot close distance.

Upon further inspection the tips are more plastic-ee than the nerf ones which seem more rubbery.

I didn't do any distance testing or anything through but all of the bullets fire fine and seem accurate, my nephews are happy with them though they insists on shooting each other with them. They fit in all of the over a dozen guns they own just fine and haven't jammed. They do get lost easily but that's obvious. Overall they work great and I would buy them again.

Whatever with the harder tips. If that little difference bothers you, then fine, but it is nothing compared to having a stronger or weaker gun. Solid build, no jams, so far. Great price. My 9 year old son plans on buying more, along with some of his friends.

Oh, and he loves that it says "Little Valentine." I thought it is pretty dumb, but I'll go with the kid on this one. He likes the name, and that it makes them a little different, i.e. special.

Couldn't be happier with these! They are a great price for the amount you get and feel the same as Nerf brand. They may have a harder tip but when shot at they feel exactly the same. Now to being the mom constantly finding ammo everywhere in the house!

Great price for refill, be warned these are stiffer than originals

Great price for 100 count refill. If you bought one of the guns that these go in, then this is an essential buy as you will lose your originals or your dogs will chew them up. Be warned, though, these are a little stiffer than the originals; nothing that would really hurt an adult if shot at the body but could certainly cause serious eye damage.

Damaged packaging and darts.

I've just opened these. The package was damaged. It seems like most of them are fine, but several are mangled so badly that I can't use them at all. Others are bent and don't shoot well. Overall they're comparable to any other dart, but I'm disappointed with the damage.

I was very happy to find out that a company sells a large amount of blaster darts at a cheaper price. I was willing to give up quality for price, but I was happy to find that the Little Valentine brand darts travel just as far, sometimes farther, than the Nerf brand and seem to hold their shape a little better. Two thumbs up from me.
