easy to pack

This is one neat suitcase, easy to pack, the folding shelves keep things in place and well organized. The outside compartments make it easy to store things like underwear and stocks. However, it could use an improvement in the zippers. They are plastic and I worry they may easily break. The holes for the lock are very small and I had to order a wire type lock so I could lock my suitcase. A normal shackle is too think. I own several suitcases from various companies and the zipper is certainly a potential concern. But the rest of the design is fantastic.

I bought this bag for my wife when went to Germany in October. This is without a doubt the best suitcase ever. I was so jealous of how my wife was able to set it up in the motorhome and easily access everything while I had to dig through everything. On the river cruse once again it took up less space and made it so easy for her to find what she was looking for. There are only 2 things that I would love to see on this bag. 1. a 4 wheel model. 2.LED lights that would light up each shelf.

It's a great idea but a few things happened. The first time I used it was on trip that took 3 flights to get there. The bag was frayed at 3 corners and two of the pull tabs on two of the zippers were broken off. Also when the bag is full it's hard to zip close due to the flap on the support strap, it impedes a zipper.

I'm sending it back. Again, great idea in theory but needs work on the design.

This is the worst luggage I've ever bought. First of all it has only two wheels and for it's humongous size, it's a nightmare dragging it around. You don't realize how important an extra two wheels will make your life easier until you've dragged one for yourself through two different countries halfway across the world. Second, the zipper ALWAYS gets stuck because of the straps inside that are used to keep the "lid" of the bag at a 90 degree angle. There are two straps so if you somehow luckily maneuvered your way out of getting it stuck on the first strap, you will probably get the zipper stuck on the second strap. 3rd, the telescoping handle used to drag this luggage around is made of the cheapest plastic material. It feels flimsy and ready to break. And 4th, speaking of breaking, I used this bag ONCE, and when it came through baggage claim, one of the zipper pulls had fallen off. If the bag cannot withhold one trip through baggage claim, I can't imagine what will happen to it after a few more uses. Also imagine how difficult it was to open the bag and get through those two straps with a broken zipper pull. VERY DIFFICULT. This bag is terrible, and for $350 which doesn't even include shipping, it's a total rip-off. DO NOT PURCHASE.

Shelfpack is the bomb! Transforms from a suitcase into a clothing shelf. It's so great to not have to unpack and repack when traveling. It's like a dresser on wheels. As awesome as advertised! There is a tip in the instruction manual on how to fit the most that is useful: don't just stack items on the shelves but have them slightly on/over the edge so it fills the full sleeve when collapsing.

I received my shelf pack last december just before a trip to NYC and Reykjavik Iceland. It made life so much easier whilst traveling, all of my clothing stayed neatly organised in my shelf pack and the hotel room stayed tidy and organised. It is a great size and the suitcase itself is extremely sturdy. I won't be leaving home without it!

I LOVE my ShelfPack!! This is a FABULOUS piece of luggage! I travel frequently: a night here, pack up & drive to a night there, repack & drive for a night over yonder...then repeat. I no longer have to unpack/pack each night, nor rummage through all my things...I just unzip, lift my shelves, and I'm good to go - Saves me untold time & energy!! (I put my "used" clothing in the bottom under the shelves!) The spacious shelving helps you organize your things so easily that it's a treat to pack your things into the ShelfPack! I have also taken my ShelfPack on both international and domestic flights/trips - I wouldn't want to be without it.

I have NEVER had a zipper problem; of course I make certain the zipper track is free before & during zipping up. And yes, it's spacious, not a carry-on; so read the dimensions rather than be disappointed about the size after purchase! And I remember when there were NO wheels on luggage...having 2 wheels works just fine. Again, I read the description before I purchased so I knew what I was ordering.

Also, their Customer Service is unparalleled!! I had a small issue (TSA's bad) so I emailed ShelfPack and within 24 hours Mr. McKaba personally resolved the issue. He stands behind his product 100% - a total pleasure to deal with (very unusual these days!!).
