I ordered 3 boxes of these beautiful knives for Christmas gifts and the knives were loose in all 3 boxes. One of the knives had a big scratch on it and many of the knives had small defects in the finish. If the manufacturer would cushion them in the box I believe this problem would

be fixed. Probably a sheet of bubble plastic would do it.
*****I am editing my review. After posting my review on these knives I received an e-mail from the company, "Chef's Vision". They apologized profusely and within 2days I had a brand new set of knives and a credit on my account for the last set I ordered. It is so refreshing to find a business that actually cares about their customers. The knives were a wonderful Christmas present for my family and they love the way they look and the way they cut. I bought these for my wife for Christmas. She loved the colorful pictures on them and was excited about using them. Well, it's 2 weeks after Christmas and I tried them out for myself on some carrots -- helping to make dinner. They're awful. There's a warning on the box that says to be careful of them because they're "extremely sharp!" They're not. They're dull in comparison with the Ginsu knives we found, used, at a garage sale. Check out this product and company at fakespot dot com and they get a horrible grade. Avoid.

They look really cool. My set wasn't sharp, but after sharpening they have a good edge. The coating does bring up some issues that are annoying but not unreasonable considering these knives have pictures on them. If they weren't pretty I'd rate them lower. I felt that when going through a tough object the blade's coating had more resistance than if it was bare metal. So they dotn seem to slide though what they cut, but that is to be expected with any coating. They go through soft items fine. Bread and tomatoes are no issue. The finish is relatively strong and slick, but will scratch with sharpening. The handle doesn't fit me very well.

In short- good for a stylish regular kitchen.. but not pro. Duh.

Beautiful gorgeous knife set!!!! I do however have issues with ONLY the green knife being a loose which kinda sucks because that's the one I use most frequently. All of the others are fine but the green most important one.

These arrived on time and are exactly as described. These knives are absolutely beautiful! Will definitely be a conversation starter in the kitchen! I was so excited when these arrived I immediately got stuff out to try the knives on an apple, an onion and so on. The knives I tried were extremely sharp and made short work of everything!! Unfortunately 2 of the knives are kinda warped. The packaging seems very good but the 2 longer thin knives are warped. Now I have to go to the trouble of boxing them up and find a place to ship them back and hope they will send me back one's that are not warped. If not for that I would have given a 5 star product rating due to sharpness and beauty. Brings art to functionality! This is an update to my original review. The company responded quickly and are sending me a replacement set! I couldn't be happier with their customer service and would highly recommended these knives

So I thought these knives were so pretty online but had mixed reviews, I got them anyhow and I am so glad with my purchase! They are just as gorgeous in person as they are online and they come in a nice little kit. I've only used one so far (as pictured) when I made tacos the other night and it was really sharp! It cut through that onion with minimal effort. Now I'm not a chef or anything, but for your average person who loves chopping and cooking dinner for the family, these will do just fine.

I purchased these for a Christmas gift. I loved them and the person whom I bought them for loved them, but I was disappointed that they were not packaged very well as the knives did not stay put in the box they came in and some of them where scratched. If they were packaged better, that would not of happened.

I bought the landscape and the cosmos set of these knives as Christmas gifts. The are absolutely gorgeous. I originally received two of the same set, but once I contacted their customer service they overnighted the correct set immediately and paid for the return shipping on the incorrect set. Customer service was very helpful. Some reviewers stated their knives arrived loose in the box and had scratched up the images, but all (three) sets I recieved were nicely packaged and secure. I'm gifting both sets, so I can't really comment on the durability or performance. Though after pulling them out of the box to check them out, they seem sharp and sturdy.

These are so stunningly beautiful, I wanted their beauty to grace my kitchen. They are every bit as beautiful as they are pictured! Contrary to some reviews, mine arrived neatly secured in their case. I was absolutely amazed at how sharp they are! I haven't had them very long, so I'm not sure how long they will keep their edges. I agree with another reviewer who commented on the handles. They are plastic, and seem to lack the artistic class that the blades have. But, they are secure, and aren't holding me from loving this set. I always hand-wash my knives, and will continue to do the same with these, so I cannot comment on how they hold up in the dishwasher. I have them displayed in the clear case (knife block) by Kuhn Rikon, so their beauty is part of my kitchen decor. Truly love them!!
