I purchased this several years ago and I still speak highly about the product. It's very relaxing and hopefully it helps keep me healthy. However I see in several years the price has doubled. Not sure why it costs so much more now. Shop around, its a great product but you shouldn't have to over pay for it.

No more back pain

Got this for my boyfriend since he use to always complain about back pain. Ever since he started using this his back pain has disappeared and he sleeps better.

I recommend this to anyone who plays sports or lifts heavy.

I've been wanting one of these mats for ages. I was a little surprised when I first unpackaged it as it was smaller than I expected. This brand's full-size mat is about the same size as other brand's foot mats. However, I just place it on my yoga mat and lie down on it and it's still the right size to cover my entire back and shoulders. I love using it and don't find it too sharp. My husband and kids all want to use it, too. The quality seems excellent. I chose this brand as it was one of the best-known and recommended, and had a high ratio of plastic points (better quality, less pain).

I love this mat, however, I'm not sure it is worth the price- which is why I only gave 4 stars. I would shop around, but I really do love this mat (and the pillow, sold separately).

I like it...a lot, but it is not for everyone. You have to get used to the spiky sensation, but after couple minutes it truly helps to relax your muscles. Afterwards you can feel the blood flushing all over your back, it is a very weird sensation, but I like it before going to bed.

This truly does help me to relax! My husband uses it when his back hurts & he swears by it. We also have the pillow, my sis-in-law used it while visiting us one day when she had a terrible headache. After taking medicine that didn't help her, I suggested she try our pillow. After 15 min she was pain free! My father-in-law also loved the "bed". We got him one for Christmas.

I really love these Bed Of Nails products. I have the mat and the pillow. I actually keep the pillow next to my bed for my frequent neck pain. It isn't comfortable for me to actually lay on the mat, but when I'm tense and in pain, I either roll it around like a scroll and put it under my back, or fold it half and lay on it for my shoulders. Sometimes I fold it around my pillow to "push" the spikes further in because I'm a freak and I like them being deep. This doesn't take away the pain 100%, but without fail it always helps considerably. Yes, it's a bit costly, but the relief cannot be measured with money.

Unfortunately, I never received my package. It was intended to be a gift. That's the reason for 1 star. Otherwise, its a great product of you have it.

I have another one that I use myself, and I really like it. Whenever I have a sore back, I lay down on the mat and feel much better afterwards.
