Too Weak to Catch a Fly

Even though I had the mouth of the vacuum within an inch of the fly, the suction was too weak to pull the insect in.To be fair, the bug catcher's description talks about spiders and the images show crawling, not flying, insects. If this is all you want to catch, this bug vacuum may suit you. If you want to pull in flying inscets, I suggest you move on.

Great item to have, especially for those Asian beetles. I think they have been mating with the stink bugs because they are smelling just as bad.Keeps the smell out of your regular vacuum. I need one for each level of the house. You can't go wrong with this one.

I am not impressed. The spiders have to be small, out of the web, and slow moving for it to work well. I did catch an out of reach earwig with it, after repeated attempts. My mason jar works better.

Purchased for a niece who hates spiders. She loved it. Now she doesn't have to get near them. She can just suck them up and dump them outside or in the toilet.

Pretty flimsy gadget. I wanted it to vacuum up flies when they fly around my windows. That way I don't mess up my windows. This vacuum is more concerned with saving the insect. I just want to get rid of them. I guess I hadn't read the description of the product properly. I'm sure the bug catcher is good as an educational tool for children but it doesn't suit my purposes.
