This is a review of the Lacdo 11-12 Inch Water Repellent Laptop Sleeve.

Perfect. That's what this is. It is the perfect fit for my Microsoft Surface Laptop, and I do mean perfect. There isn't even an extra millimeter of wasted space inside when I slide my laptop into this sleeve. It is just what I was looking for, a padded, protective sleeve that fits my laptop snugly.

The material is a durable, water repellent canvas. If it's sprinkling outside, I won't freak out because water basically runs right off the canvas material. I would not rely on this for prolonged protection in a pouring rain, but for light sprinkles and occasional splashes, it will provide protection to my valuable laptop.

The external zippered compartment doesn't allow for extremely bulky items but it does have several slots for pens, stylus, small pads, smartphone, etc. It's very handy to have that and it has a well-padded inner side so any sharp edged things in the pocket won't be able to possibly poke through the lining and scratch my laptop.

A perfect fit. Substantially padded yet not bulky. This is exactly what I was hoping to find for my Surface Laptop.

This little laptop sleeve works perfectly for my Lenovo ideapad that I bring back and forth to classes. It has a pocket that fits my mouse, flash drive and charger, and the main pouch is padded enough that I'm not worried about my laptop getting broken while it's in my backpack. I have more than enough room to slip the laptop and its accessories into this sleeve, and then the sleeve into my backpack with my textbooks and notepads. It's great for the price and I really appreciate the large front pocket for all my accessories.

Arrived on time. Material seems durable. The front pocket is spacious and has pencil slots and more pockets. My favorite features are that the top sides go down far enough for my charger to fit, (there's two zippers for only the charger to stick out) and that the front pocket zipper can be tucked into the folds when it's not needed. (Both features pictured) One quirky thing I noticed is that the small metal logo on the front of mine is crooked.

After quite a while, trying to find a nice sleeve for my laptop, I was pleasantly surprised when I received this one. It's durable and looks just like the photo. The inside is a very soft material and the case, itself, is thick, so I know it'll be good for protecting my laptop.

The only downside I can really think of is so small that it doesn't really matter. The inside lining isn't connected to the inside wall of the outside case, so it can sometimes cause a small bend on the inside. I can't see it mattering to many people because you can't see the bend on the inside.

I know there are a few people on here that have gotten free or discounted things to rate them, so I wanted to share my real review, so people can know that this really is a very good product.

Bought two of these, one for me, the other for my boyfriend. We had just purchased new laptops over the holiday season and were looking for the perfect sleeve. THIS IS PERFECT!! Thick padding, very sleek design, and just the colors we like! We ordered a black sleeve and silver sleeve. We LOVE our sleeves, and they are at a great price!! Lacdo 13-13.3 Inch Water Repellent Laptop Sleeve Case for MacBook Pro MacBook Air 13.3" 12.9-inch iPad Pro Asus Dell HP Protective Notebook Bag,Pink

Love love love this!! I purchased this along with my ASUS Chromebook Flip C302 and it fitted perfectly (with a very small allowance on the sides). The exterior design is quite plain, but I find it classy at the same time. The materials used for the entire sleeve looks and feels durable and of high-quality despite the surprisingly low price. What I loved about this the most are the facts that the interior material is really soft (so that your device will be guaranteed to be scratch-proof), the zipper of the external pocket can be tucked in so it doesn't just casually dangle and potentially scratch some other things it might get in contact with and that the pocket has... smaller pockets inside it! I find those very convenient to organize my Chromebook's paperwork (warranty, manual, etc.) as well as the charger. I'm so glad I purchased this! ♥♥♥

This case is fantastic. At first I had bought the Amazon basics 13.3 inch sleeve to fit my Acer Spin 5, but it was just a little too small -- the corners were too rounded. I gave that to my sister for her 13 in macbook pro. I bought this instead which proved to be an upgrade. First and foremost, my laptop fits nicely as the case has more square corners. The inside is soft and plush. Although I haven't dropped my laptop with the case yet, it really seems it would absorb the impact well. The outside is a rugged feeling fabric that reminds me of backpack material. Even so, it feels nice in the hand, and provides decent grip. The outside compartment that zips is great; it has a couple of pockets inside about 4-5 inches across, and three pencil sleeves. Both zippers are good quality, not flimsy at all. Lastly, it seems to repel liquids surprisingly well. What prompted me to login and write this review was an accident a few moments ago when I spilled coffee on it. Most of the coffee wicked off right away, the rest came off with a napkin; no trace, doesn't even feel wet. Would definitely buy this again -- I have no problems at all. Absolutely great for the price.

Update: 12/10/2018

Figured I'd provide an update that this case is holding up very nicely. It looks as feels as good as the day I got it. Excellent build quality, still seems to repel liquids, and the cushions feel just as, well, cushion-y. Very happy with this case, looks like it will last years easily.

Cheap and used

I'm not sure whether I received a random dud based on all the other good reviews, but I was not happy with this purchase.

The day I opened it, I noticed the zipper track on one of the corners was a little bent and that the surrounding material has snagged or ripped. It was stuck for a moment but I got it to close. I purchased this about a week ago and already the two bottom corners have small holes in the outside material.

Another annoyance I had was with the side pocket. I stored a silicone keyboard cover in there and when I pulled it out the next day, there were what looked to be little white animal (I'm assuming dog) hairs on my cover and inside the pocket. At this point, I hadn't taken the case out of my house yet and yes, I own a dog. But it's a black schnoodle and her breed doesn't shed. It's either that or little hairs from the gray material inside the pocket. Ever since then, I keep finding random hairs. It makes the bag seem used.

To be fair, it does seem somewhat decent when it comes to protection. The inside shock absorbent material is intact and my asus zenbook fits nicely. I just wish the sleeve as a whole seemed less cheap. I was not satisfied with this purchase.

Pros:
-Build quality of materials are nice
-Inside is soft and I don't worry about scratching
-Front pocket is convenient to hold my charger and accessories

Cons:
-Really thick and bulky (which isn't translating to protection)
-laptop fell out of my vehicle when the door opened and sustained damage, so although thick, this didn't translate to corner protection
-"grey" is on the warmer side and leans towards tan

Conclusion:

Overall, the case is nice and convenient, but you'll have to cautious. Great for protection from scratches, but wasn't there for me when I really needed it. If you are clumsy like me, I would suggest something with more corner protection.

I wasn't sure whether I wanted to give this a 4 star or a 5 star review, but I did decided on 5 stars. I am starting my freshman year of college this fall and I was required to buy the latest model of the MacBook Pro 15 inch and I am scared to death about something happening to it so I invested in both this laptop sleeve and the: TOP CASE - Macbook Pro 15 Case Release 2017 & 2016, Rubberized Matte Hard Case Cover for MacBook Pro 15-inch Model A1707 with Touch Bar ( Release 2017 & 2016 ) - Satin White . After a lot of searching I decided on this sleeve, mainly because it said that it would ship on time for it to be here before I left for college. I ordered it on a Thursday and received it on a Tuesday. One of the reason that I was stuck between 4 and 5 stars was because it is a little too big for my MacBook, however, it's not the sleeve's fault. It does that that it is 15.6 inches in the description, so when the laptop is in the sleep there is about an inch or two of room. It will still do the job whether it has a snug or loose fit. The second reason that I was on the fence with my rating was because I had bought the: JanSport Unisex Right Pack Grey Rabbit Backpack as my backpack but when I try to put my laptop in the laptop compartment of the backpack while it has this sleeve on it, the backpack will not zip shut. It will, however if I just put it into the backpack itself and not the laptop compartment. I also love the color, it is a beautiful heather steel grey color and it definitely matches my style Overall I am happy with my purchase and would recommend.
