Banknote was not received in the conditon advertised...
by 3.75 inch collector (2 out of 5 stars)

I received a well worn banknote that was also dirty besides, despite the listing stated that this was to be an uncirculated bill. Needless to say, I was not pleased with my purchase, though in fairness the seller did advise that I could mail it back to him. So while it would appear many other people indeed received an uncirculated banknote, I didn't, so buyer beware.

An interesting story and a great gesture
by Desert Dweller (5 out of 5 stars)

I purchased these Zimbabwe notes as a spot of humor for some friends, having understood there was at least one country that had their own "dollar" denominated currency that been distributed in high denominations. I discovered my answer was Zimbabwe after reading about the tragic inflation the country had experienced on Wikipedia.

I then shopped Amazon to find the currency and chose to purchase the 10 Billion denomination rather than the more pricey 100 billion notes. I've given the notes to friends as thanks for various gestures. It's a unique way to say thanks, using a real, uncirculated note.

No regrets!

Not uncirculated
by Redpawn (3 out of 5 stars)

While the bills were genuine and shipping was quick, the bills showed signs of circulation. Of the three purchased by me, one bill had priminent scorch marks while still having vestiges of having been folded visible. Another bill shows signs of having been folded. I believe these bills were pressed with heat to make them lie nice and flat. This is not a big deal to me , as I use them as book marks but I am sure others would care.

A cautionary tale...

These noted are a stark reminder of what can happen when megalomaniacs run prosperous economies into the ground... An interesting supplement to my postage stamps and banknotes from 1930s Germany. A good teaching moment for children or grandchildren.

Nicely packed and protected hyperinflation bill

Superb bill. Perfect in condition and just an amazing thing to own. Hyperinflation makes us realize it's just paper after all. Like the plastic sleeve...protects the bill indefinitely.

Only ONE bill BUT lots of fun! EXCELLENT condition!

Used to be, you could get two hundred $100,000 bills (good, used condition) for $15 US. These middlemen have apparently bought those up and selling one or two st a time.

STILL, lots of fun asking for CHANGE. Even better, their dictator TRIED to offer these nice people FREE healthcare, FREE college, FREE farmland, etc.

When the money ran out, they simply printed up more AND taxed Medical Pros, dentists, lawyers, GOOD Farmers, etc. at approximately 95% tax. So GUESS WHAT??? Yes, their "talent pool" left the country. In short, the former "bread basket" of Africa is NOW a "basket case."
