I bought a size medium and found that it was much too small for my bulldog (she has an 18.5" head and the snood stretched out to a max of 14"). The snood was so lovingly made that I really wanted to make it work so I contacted Zoo Snood's customer service to ask whether I received a size small or if I needed to go up a size.

David wrote me back saying they recently changed their sizing due to customer feedback so the medium runs smaller now. He also admitted they're at a bit of a crisis point because they've now gotten feedback that they made it too much smaller and they're still working on sizing and a new size chart to reflect the changes they've made.

He thought my bulldog would do better with a size large, though it might be a little loose - and immediately sent me one. I received it two days later (so fast!) and while it does fit a little loosely, I actually think my bully likes it better that way... and since she's not a fast mover (ha), it doesn't shift out of place too much.

I am so amazingly happy with the snood and the customer service. David's made me into a loyal customer and I already plan to buy the reindeer and the fox soon!

We got in our snood and our dog loves it! Keeps her ears nice and warm. Also helps water from going in them when it's raining which our dog Suki hates with a passion. We ended up getting a large because of her big head also because the M size from the reviews I've read said that might be running a little small. So to be safe we got Large which ended up being a little big on our Suki. So if she runs around or shakes to hard it moves either behind her ears or over her face. She has cropped ears (she was like that we got her the breeder did it) so there isn't much to stop it from moving around. Maybe a wash and throwing in the dryer will help haha. But we love it and it makes her look so cute!

OVERVIEW

I really wanted to get a snood for my pekingese because her long furry ears kept dragging into her food and water, making them messy. These cow design snoods really sparked my interest since I loved the cute horn-design.

-a bit warm for warmer climates but that's okay
-the horns often turned sideways during movement, I found that the short and thick-necked pekingese felt a bit awkward with this, because the snood didn't stay in place well and for some reason moved on her more.

ALLTOGETHER

I love these. They are so cute and fit my Pomeranian, Papillon and Pekingese (3 lbs, 9 and 12 lbs) and keep the Papillon warm and the pekingese ears dry during food time. A small fit both very well! The Pekingese measured 12 inch around her face. I am glad I didn't order a larger size as this fits wonderfully, stretches well, keeps my Pekes ears clean and doubles as costume.

Really the most adorable gift

Good for dogs scared of thunder or fireworks. They won't mute the sound though so if your dog is scared of fireworks and you take your dog to see the fireworks they will still freak out. This just helps dogs trained to be calm be even more calm with loud sounds. My yuki was quite scared at first but the cover really made a difference and she wasn't scared the rest of the night. Buy the cutest one and have it for any occasion like that it's a must have for all dog owners

Adorable! It will keep his ears warm in Colorado when we are hiking. I ordered a small, fits perfect! It seems to stay pretty snug on his head.. first two pics..

So we went to Colorado, and his ears stayed SOOOO warm. He looked like a silly billy goat, got lots of laughs and compliments. When he didn't wear his snood, his little ears would freeze.. pics with blue jacket on...

I LOVE IT. Fits perfectly. My dogs head is 47cm which is a little bigger than the recommended medium size, but too small for the large. I got the medium anyway and it's perfect because it has stretch to fit him snug. The most perfect charming hat for my dog. So glad it gets to keep him warm all winter. Each stitch is perfect to the detail. I love it and we can't stop getting smiles and compliments whenever we step out with it.

OMGosh! This is such a cute snood! We had a terrible time when the polar vortex hit our area. Our "Bull" had a nice thermal coat, but no hat, and his ears suffered for it. Going out to "take care of business" became a wrestling match which usually ended with an unscheduled "Bulldog Tossing Event"! I saw this snood, on Amazon, and bought a medium thinking that my French Bulldog's head was a normal, average size...well, I was mistaken... After I returned it for a size large, perfection ensued! I have enclosed a picture. Just look at that happy dog! He even likes to wear it! Who knew? Ears are warm, dog is happy, and our home life has returned to normal, well, as normal as it ever gets...lol. Thanks for such a winning product. I will be buying from this company again!

Best costume for my 2-yr old black labrador! He didn't mind wearing for long durations (even a walk through town), and he looked amazing! Quality construction and great fit. He is about 95 lbs with a blocky head and it stayed put while not being tight.

I purchased the large and it fit a 120lb Dane and my 75lb black Dane/Lab mix perfectly. I also tried it on a 60lb boxer and it was a little too loose, so a medium would work better on him.

This is adorable! The knit is very well made and it stretches nicely. My dogs tolerate this better than a hat. They will pull a hat off their head within seconds.

I will buy more of these! Awesome product!

These snoods are so cute. I got the medium bull because I had gotten a large jack rabbit one for him and it was a little too big. I should've stayed with the large for this one cause even though it was stretchy it was just a little too tight. Still adorable though. Very well made. It's an amazing deal for the price.
