Apivar is an amitraz based varroa mite treatment, Proven to be safe & effective. Strips are placed in the brood chamber, one Stripper 5 frames of bees, & the active ingredient is slowly release over a six-week period when the bees come into contact with the Strips. No significant residue is left in the hives, andup to 99% of mites are killed in one application!
