Gotta Hand It to Them...

While they don't look exactly like the photo, they're pretty good/close. What you get will have slightly different blood drips, and the palms are a little puffy. I'm told that severed arms do puff up a bit, especially in the heat, but I would have preferred them a little flatter. Other than that, the molding is great. The bones look better than expected, and there's a slight texture to the skin that fits well.

Look, if you've seen and owned a fair amount of Halloween products, these are above average. If you want to improve them yourself (which I'll probably do), they're going to be awesome. That's not necessary, because they will be amazing in the dark, as is.

Overall, I'd be surprised if you weren't pleased with this purchase. There are a lot of severed arms/hands out there, and I think these are probably some of the best.

These arms are a great deal! You get two and they're both soft latex and they look real enough for the price. I paid $9 on amazon for cheap plastic Rubies Costume Hand. So if you're comparing it to these, it's no competition. Spend an extra $4 and get two that look real.

Surprisingly realistic. The only thing that could be better is the palms, as they appear thicker than normal palms and have an "over stuffed" appearance. However this is to be expected of any hallow, non-rigid product attempting to model a concave structure such as a palm. I really can't fault them for it. And it's barely noticible, especially if you leave the hands unbent and relaxed.

These look great, and the fact that you get 2 of them for this price is a great deal!

These are realistic enough to scare the neighborhood kids... made for a fun trick-or-treat afternoon.
(Don't panic, the axe is welded to the sign post and the sharp edge was ground off first. LOL)

Realistic look and feel! These are perfect for what I needed them for. Great addition to any scary theme especially for Halloween. I'm using them on an animatronic figure and I can't wait to see people's reaction! These are not basic hard plastic. You get what you pay for! Quick shipping as well.

I would have gladly paid the price for 1, but for 2 this was a great deal, and way cheaper than a Halloween supply store. It was also surprisingly more detailed and proportional than expected. The palms however, are bloated and puffy looking, but for our purposes, it worked really well. Would recommend for your prop severed-arm needs!

Loves these! There is foam inside so I even cut a finger off one of them to use it for my door bell and covered the foam with fake blood. :)

Good Molding and Detail. I'm Wrestling with the Color Though...

These are, as stated by many, smaller than most hands except for the thumb which is the opposite and much larger. This is compared to my hands, but no issue there as I'm 6'-2". The side opposite the palms has pretty realistic molding and as stated by others, the palms are a little puffy looking. Still no issue. What no one seems to have stated is how orange they really are when comparing them to "standard caucasian" flesh color. Granted, I'm Irish/American Indian, but these (at least the pair I received) are extremely orange in color. All in all, the molding is good and they have good detail, but I think they will have to suffice for late evening props as the color is so orange I just can't see them remotely passing for realistic in the daylight hours. Anyway, no real gripes, just wanted to get this out there for anyone looking for something more "standard caucasian" in color. And I am keeping them as the hand part on the pair I'll be using is going into gloves. I'm only leaving the stump out for view. It will be dark or dusk at least and what will be showing will work for me.
