We returned this item because a child cannot use it alone (it tips if it doesn't have at least two children to balance it).

Also, there is no way for the children to make the swing "go" once they are on it (they need someone to spin them around).

I recommend getting the deluxe platform swing from Hearth Song instead:

Quality Isn't what you'd expect - fun nevertheless

This swing has a lot of different options for play based on number of children. It takes up a big area and can be a bit challenging to assemble. Kids enjoy it. We live in Northeast Ohio and packed it away for the winter. Unfortunately after less than a year of owning this swing (5 months of which were storage) it is starting to show more wear and tear than we'd expect give the high price tag.

Great product, but priced too high for the quality

For the price, I was somewhat disappointed. The kids do love playing on it, but it seems to be wearing quickly. The color on the ropes started to sun bleach almost immediately, and the rubber padding has slid around on the bars, exposing the bolts underneath. We attached it to a regular 4x6 beam for a swingset with an eyebolt. We had to tie a large one at the top to shorten it a little and keep it from dragging on the ground. Even before we tied the knot, it seemed to list a little to one side. Oh well. The kids definitely have a blast playing on it!

We purchased this swing to hang in our tree. The kids absolutely love it! As soon as they run out the door, that is the first thing they do. Seems to be very well made. It has already gotten a lot of use and still seems in perfect shape. Highly recommended!

Better than expected

I just received this yesterday and had it hanging in about 10 minutes. It comes mostly assembled with just 4 screws to finish putting it together. It was a huge hit right away for my kids and their friends. I wish I had a video of it. Really wonderful addition to our yard. It seems very solid and durable too. My 6 yo son is small enough that he can lay on his back on the base and put his feet up on the black ring and swing by himself.
