Latch ripped immediately

After trying to put my podskinz airpots on, the latch in the back ripped immediately. Wrote a review on here to let buyers know that this will happen and the seller promptly messaged me to remove negative review. To put pressure on this.. and "to meet in the middle," she told me she would "replace" my airpodz with a new one. It's been almost a month and still no word or status on where the "new" podskinz case she promised. I think it was her way of telling me to remove my review. What I thought was good customer service ended up being a bad one. Very disappointed.

Loose fit makes the case a bit annoying.

The case was acceptable when I received it. After a month of use, it's too loose.

My case has sat on my desk, occasionally in my pocket. It's never been subjected to adverse conditions.

I can't recommend this case.

Expected better

This was nice at first but after a short while the part that covers the door part of the case started slipping off and now it won't stay on at all, it constantly slips off when in a pocket or bag and as a result my AirPods case was scratched up in my bag. I was expecting better quality for the price.

Tears at hinge point

Received this on 2/21. 6 days later it is now tearing at the hinge point that joins the body to the lid. Disappointed. I'm going to see what the company has to say about sending me another one. I'd like to keep using the product because it fits well and seems to protect the case from damage. I agree with other reviews that say it attracts a lot of dust, etc. I've been keeping mine in a plastic bag while trying it to see if I could minimize the dust. It still attracts dust.

Edit:

The customer service is excellent. One day after connecting with the customer service rep, I received a replacement in the mail. I am really impressed with the company and am raising my review to a 4.

Update:

The case now is like the skin on a puppy....very loose. The top cover does not stay on anymore and therefore the case has become useless.

Previous

Nice tight fit and protection. This is my second AirPods set as I lost the first one.. (GPS tracker anyone???) The old one got scratched up really quickly so this time around I want to protect it from me :)

It does attract some fluff but I was expecting that so cannot be disappointed .

I really like this case, and feel that it protects AirPods case from scratches, drops, dents, etc. It fits really well and gives it a good feel in your hand without adding bulk. I haven't really had any issues with lint collection...sure the case is silicone and it does attract some hairs and dust, but to me it's not a major issue.

The one minor downside, that does not change my 5-star rating, is that the top of the case can slide up SLIGHTLY as others have commented. I've attached two photos, one of the case on as it should be completely fit, and a second of when the top slides up a bit. It doesn't compromise the effectiveness of the protection of the case, it's more a nuisance more than anything, but I would buy the case all over again.

I'm waiting a bit longer to see if I really love the case a month from now, and then I'm considering using a little bit of super glue on the top of the AirPods case so that the PodSkinz protector is permanently on, and won't slide at all. Keep you posted if I do.

**UPDATE**

After my review below I received an email almost immediately following up to it. The company rep (Ron) advised that there may have been a slight problem with the initial batch of the product and if I sent my order number then he would gladly send out an updated version. I travel for a living and did not have the time to do so (although I WAS going to). It doesn't matter because they proactively located my order and sent one. It arrived and I was completely surprised. I have experienced such a high level of customer service few times in my life and this is one of them. PodSkinz has my business! And I WILL be telling my friends about this product. Thank you for being such a great proactive company! I paid full asking price for these on Amazon, I am not paid for my review whatsoever, and I love my AirPods case!

I love this case. Being a meticulous person, I wanted to keep my AirPods case from getting scuffed and this does the trick. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that the top part doesn't seem tight enough so when opening the AirPods sometimes the case comes off the lid. I'm not sure how that could be corrected, possibly with a slightly tighter top portion? That's said, the case is obviously top quality and not cheap junk and knowing my little grip I still would have ordered them!

Oh my goodness these are definitely higher quality than the other AirPod Cases that I've tried! You can really feel that the material is more high-quality and it doesn't track as much dust as the other silicone cases on the market. Definitely a five star product! So happy I got them! I had to return the last case I bought from another seller because it just kept attracting Dust nonstop and the color was a bit faded. Definitely recommend this for it's beautiful simple design as well. The only thing I would say is that the blue color isn't super super blue, it's a little bit more of a Mint blue type or maybe even a very light cool blue not necessarily a full on powder blue blue like as it appears in some of the photos. I tried to show the color in these photos I took. Basically this is what the diamond blue looks like but I think it's still so beautiful! (FYI IT FITS PERFECTLY AS YOU CAN SEE!) so happy!!

Great product!! Fit over my AirPod case perfectly! Well constructed, feels great to the touch (doesn't feel cheap like some other cases I've seen) and it's not too thick. AirPod case and all buttons work seamlessly with the case on. Would definitely recommend and ordered one for my husband as well as myself!! We both love it! Re some other reviews I've read of this product, the silicone is thinner than some I've seen, so as long as you aren't aggressive when putting it on your case, I'm sure it won't tear. My husband and I had absolutely no issues getting our skins on! Not sure what that's all about. And it's silicone, it's bound to attract lint, but it's not obnoxious and wipes off very easily.

I ordered this and used it for a month. Its already ripped. I liked this product a lot when I first got it but I'm really surprised it separated in such a short time. During use, the silicone was never dropped while on the airpod case. The only time the silicone made contact with anything was when I would open the case or it would go in my pocket. In the photos you can see there is a clean break in the silicone and its completely straight. I should have known better because the silicone hinge on this product is very thin. I appreciate the low price of this item but it is unfortunate that this now becomes a "you get what you pay for" scenario. I won't bother trying to get another one, I just want other people to know not to waste their time with this item.
