OK, we bought this for a Christmas Gift in 2017. I waited to write this review until we had some time to work with the set. It is February now and we have configured and re-configured this into four different remote control toys. We have made the robot, the tank with working trans, the race car, and the "BUG" (cute and a little weird). The kids love this toy. It is a Chinese knockoff of Lego's with two electric motors and a battery pack/receiver that configures into each toy design. I have mad it a project to sit down with my 5 year old grandson when we get together to "change" from one reject to another. I looked through the pictures only instructions and decided that he would need my help to assemble these remote control toys. Boy was I wrong! He looks in to kit of parts and pulls out the right pieces every time. He even has shown me some modifications to make them look really "cool" (glad he knows what that word means). This is NOT Lego, and for the money and interest it has generated, I rate it Five stars!

Great robotic toy. I purchased two as "end of the school year gifts" for my 7 and 9 year old stepsons, and they absolutely loved them. They do require some adult help depending on how comfortable your kid may be at putting together more complex lego sets- the 9 year old only needed help when something wouldn't snap together; the 7 year old needed a decent amount of assistance. That being said, once put together, it worked, and they were very excited to see the robots move.

My 7 year old bought this with his bday $ and has had it for about 8 months. He loves to take it apart and build it into the various options on his own. Great brain activity that is hands on and he is amazed to see he built something that can actually move with a remote! Highly recommend for an at home STEM activity!
