Excellent Immersion and Gravity Option. Perfect Coffee!by RoRo (5 out of 5 stars)

Makes the best gravity (a combination of French Press, Pour Over, more similar to AeroPress) coffee that I have ever tried. Perfect balance! No acidity: Medium to Medium Fine Ground, 202F, Stir, 45 to 60s and plunge. Perfect!
Excelent alternative to Aeropress, Immersion and French Press, great taste! Although you can also make Pour Over, Cold Brew, Cold Drip and something resembling espresso, I would rather make the latters with more specialized equipment. Very happy. Machine is elegant. Only complain is the lack of space to place a scale (below the carafe), unless you put it below the whole thing, which my scale considers too heavy, and refuses to work. Recommend very much.
The only coffee press/drip/immersion machine you will need!

I purchased this item for my fiance (a Barista) who lives in South Korea. It is a little disappointing that Trinity does not make shipments to South Korea. Nonetheless, this is an absolutely beautiful "machine." My fiance owns a very busy cafe, and he was not able to do drip coffee during the weekends due to the high volume of customers. Now, he is able to do so by using this device! Honestly, if you just use it as an interior item, it would still be as valuable.
Stunning device in every way.

I'm going to be honest here, I don't own the Trinity. I have however met the designer and creator of the Trinity at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo and this device is absolutely stunning. The industrial design elements are as visually appealing as they are to touch and to use. Every aspect of the Trinity was maliciously developed, down to the manufacturer and if you can find it, the leather carry case.
Onto the quality of the coffee; it's a manual product and as such the quality of the brew will only be as good as the beans, grind, water temperature and dose to water ratio. If you are into pour over, aeropress or batch brewing then the Trinity will be an absolutely awesome purchase. It is a versatile product that looks amazing and is manufactured using high quality materials that make it a delight to use.
Beautiful Coffeemaker that Makes Fantastic Coffee

I am a daily coffee drinker and have become more and more interested in high quality coffee and various methods of brewing coffee over the last couple of years. I purchased the Trinity One Coffeemaker a few weeks ago, and so far, I love it.
What I love:
1. It's easy to use once you practice each method
2. It's beautifully made and looks very nice displayed in my kitchen.
3. The coffee is fantastic, no matter which brew method you use. I haven't had a bad cup yet.
4. It's much easier to clean than my regular coffee press. The company has a tutorial video that shows you how to clean it properly (and easily).
5. It's great for making single servings of coffee, which makes it easy to have a fresh cup instead of drinking from an old pot of coffee that has been sitting.
What you should know:
1. There is a small learning curve, but the resources on the Trinity Coffee website are great. There are tutorial videos you can watch and documents that you can print that walk you through each method.
2. The coffee maker doesn't come with any filters. You need a small, round filter for the immersion and press methods and a cone filter for the drip method. I had to order the round filters separately from Amazon. If a filter is labelled as fitting the Aeropress Coffee Maker, it will work for the Trinity One. My favorite filter is Able's stainless steel filter for fine grounds because it barely allows any grounds through.
3. It does splatter a little when you brew the coffee with the press method. Using a tall mug helps with this problem.
4. The directions from the company website include measurements in grams. When I'm making each cup of coffee, I use two heaping tablespoons of ground coffee per 8 ounces of water.
I am looking forward to using the coffeemaker for cold brew and for brewing tea, neither of which I have tested out yet. Overall, I am very pleased with the Trinity One and am impressed with how easy it is to brew coffee using three different methods with only one coffee maker.
Form meets function almost perfectly

The coffee maker has a beautiful design and aesthetically pleasing on all levels. The ability to use the Trinity for pressed coffee both Aero and French is fantastic along with using it as a pour over stand just very handy. The only downfall to this machine would be the cleaning process which is a bit messy compared to using a regular Aeropress. The filters often get stuck in the handle making it a messy more time consuming process. Other than the cleaning aspect it is a beautiful piece of equipment that makes a very nice cup of coffee.
This review would easily get 5/5 stars if not for the cleaning process.
A great cuppa joe!

This is a pretty amazing tool. I can't call it a machine, because it's too sophisticated to be a "machine" and it isn't electric, so that seemed like the wrong way to describe it. This is an advanced coffee-making tool. I love it.
I was kind of skeptical at first, because it seems like EVERYone has a better, smarter, faster way to make a good cup of coffee. I was happy with my plastic filter holder, it did a decent job... I'm still doing pour overs with the Trinity One, but the resulting cup seems to be waaay better. The resulting cup of coffee is very smooth, and yes, I am using the same coffee I was using before.
I admit, I struggled with the brew controller when I first started. I ended up with a giant mess of grounds and water all over my counter the first time I tried the press method. I think this was a combination of my impatience and not the best instructions ever. I had a hard time figuring out how to stop the flow on the controller at first. I think I've got the hang of it now.
I grew to love the design of the Trinity One. It seems a little weird and industrial at first, but it's very cleverly crafted with solid wood accents. It's actually quite attractive on my counter and happens to kind of match my apartment kitchen. Now that it's out and I've been using it, I really appreciate the design and it's actually quite an attractive conversation piece. I do wish there were a bit more clearance under the brew chamber/flow controller. I can easily fit a standard mug underneath, but I can't fit my smaller travel mug under it. I have to use a 1/2 pint jar and transfer the resulting brew to my 12oz mug that is taller and thinner than my 12oz mug.
Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. It's a great tool to have in the kitchen, and it makes a great cup of coffee.
Why plastic?!

Was super excited to buy this until I read in the questions that the brew chamber is plastic. What the hell?! Why not specify that in the video? Even if it is BpA free, it will still scratch, become "frosted", or take on coffee colors (and flavors). Why not use borosilicate glass? It will take the pressure and resist breaking. Or make it all stainless? What is with all these coffee gadgets being made out of plastic, and then priced like it is pyrex or stainless? I am sick of plastic garbage. Expecially when it is priced like it's gold.

We are with timothey haley. Wanted to buy one so bad until we found out about the plastic. Totally awful choice.

A plastic cylinder. This is a hipster coffee apparatus. Waste of money.
