Product Description
Let's just throw it out there: Evita Beauty Whip Soap by Kanebo is possibly the prettiest face wash that's in the beauty market. And I'm hardly even talking about the packaging - which in one way or another *might* give away the magic that is this facial wash. How it works: All you have to do is press the levers down, and a white floral rose (3cm in height) will pop out. Scoop it off the bottle and there you have it - a perfect foam rose.Top Reviews
Cue the squeals of delight: rose-shaped cleansing foam is basic, but big on the cute factorby nycgirl (4 out of 5 stars)

OK first of all, I did not pay an outrageous price for this. Only $16 usd at a Hong Kong drugstore chain called Mannings. This foam is pure visual pleasure -- shake the pressurized can, and press down on the sides to expel a rose-shaped dollop of cleansing foam. Cue the squeals of delight and instagram envy from beauty junkies.
The foam itself does not remove makeup -- you'll still have to use a cleansing oil first. It's more of a 2nd step cleanser in your dual cleansing routine. If it were not in the shape of a rose, i highly doubt re-buying this --the performance is quite ordinary/basic. But the ROSE! adorable.
For me, the visual gimmick wore off after a while, and I found myself using a normal cleansing foam in a tube, as it was faster and easier than using two hands to pump out the rose each time. Fun to experience one time, but not a re-buy for me.
Not worth the price tag for a novelty item....

It's OK. I didn't like it as a face wash. It made me breakout when I used it on my face. I have oily combo skin that is prone to breakouts. So I decided to use as a body wash. It works OK as that, my skin didn't feel tight or dry form it but it also wasn't moisturized. I definitely had to use lotion after my shower but I do that after every shower regardless of what body product I use (I live Phoenix, AZ... most of the year there is no moisture in the air).
The novelty of the rose coming out wears off after about the third use and when your hands are wet it can be a bit tricky. All in all it was fun and is still fun to show my friends the cool rose pattern that I makes when coming out of the bottle. But you're basically wasting product when doing it just for show.
I basically blew $70 on what ended up being a body wash that is just OK and has a really cool but tricky dispenser if your hands are wet.
