Important Cleaning Tips for Simple Shapes Chalkboard and Chalk Marker products:

When using Simple Shapes Chalk Markers on our Chalkboard products or other hard and non-porous surfaces, we recommend the following cleaning tips.

For chalk marker writing that is just a few days old, use a paper towel with water to wipe clean.

For older chalk marker writing that does not easily wipe off with a wet paper towel, we recommend either using a spray cleaner such as Kaboom or Oxy Clean. A Mr. Clean magic eraser also works well. Other cleaning products have not been tested and are not recommended.

• Easy Installation, Just Peel and Stick. Trim or cut to size with scissors or craft knife. Removable + Repositionable IMPORTANT! Please Prime your Chalkboard BEFORE using it for the first time. Prime your Chalkboard: Take a piece of regular chalk, lay it on its side and generously rub onto the entire chalkboard area. After the entire chalkboard is covered in chalk, rub it in with a dry cloth or paper towel. Then wait a few minutes and erase the chalk. Now you are all set to use your chalkboard. Go at it and have fun! When using Simple Shapes Chalk Markers on our Chalkboard products or other hard and nonporous surfaces, we recommend the following cleaning tips.
• 1. Before Installation Check that the sufacehas been primed and / or painted. If the wallpaper is applied to a dirty or dusty wall, the strength of the adhesive will be compromised and the chalkboard may not completely adhere to your wall. 2. Prep the Wall Use a Lint-Free Towel Mix 70% isopropyl alcohol with 30% water. The alcohol must be diluted or it will cause issues such as bubbling. Make sure you clean the wall thoroughly. You may see a bit of paint on the towel. Wait until it flashes off (dries) and repeat 2 more times to obtain maximum strength Wait 15 minutes (dries) and then complete your installation.
