Freeze in SINGLE Layer

So, when I first got these, mine didn't freeze like a lot of other people who posted. Or, rather about 75% of them froze, and the rest were liquid even after the better part of a week.

Then I read a few reviews saying to spread them in a single layer, so that's what I did. I also packed them in between some other items in the freezer, like frozen vegetables. Next time I checked them, they were all frozen. The cubes may insulate each other against freezing, for some weird reason, so make sure that you spread them out, and if you have a few bags of frozen peas, put them on top. The rest of the cubes should freeze after that.

As for keeping drinks cold, I had a jug of water that had been in my car for days (unopened). It's been around 80 degrees here, so the jug was definitely not cold. I poured a cup of water, put 4 cubes in it, and the water was ice cold in about 5 minutes. Just like any water based cubes, they ARE going to melt at room temperature, and return to liquid as they cool down your drink. In direct sun, you can typically expect any cubes to last 20 minutes tops. Inside a house, they should last about 30-60 minutes before turning completely liquid. If it's taking you that long to finish a drink, you can always fish out 1-2 cubes, and throw in a couple new ones, or replace the cubes when you pour a new drink.

I bought two packs so I could keep pitchers of Margarita and Sangria cold without adding ice, or having to keep it in the fridge the entire party. I just wash mine in a big bowl of soapy water, and then rinse them off in a colander and let them air dry before putting them back in the freezer.

Half of them froze

I wasn't sure if I wanted to choose 2 or 3 stars. I went with two bc the product didn't quite work. Only half of the cubes actually froze. I've had them all in the freezer now 48+ hours and still only half have frozen. Disappointed. Wouldn't recommend.

These are terrible. They took almost two days to freeze completely, and then only stayed frozen for 15 minutes. Most importantly, they make water taste terrible. I am not at all picky about my water. Most tap water is fine. But these leave a a strong plastic rubber aftertaste that lingers in the mouth for hours. It also makes the water smell weird. One of the worst purchases I've made. I am super lazy when it comes to filling up ice trays, which is why I bought these. But no amount of time saved is worth drinking stink water.

No more watered down drinks!

So far, these are great! I just quickly clean them with warm, soapy water between uses then throw back in the freezer. Not terribly time consuming & (to me) worth it not to have my drinks watered down by melting ice cubes!

rx'd cubes a day ago & immediately put them into freezer... after 24+ hrs i placed five (5) into a 400ml /13.5oz glass... the cubes were barely cold & definitely not frozen by the time i finished my drink.... the drink never got "cold" just marginally cooler... 100% waste of $$$

Love these! Use them with Contigo and Bubba kegs cups and they keep my drinks really cold without watering them down. I live in Florida and these work great for me!

They just dont freeze reliably. And if you're wanting ice cubes, that's pretty much a deal killer. I have had a package of these sitting in a shallow bowl in my freezer for, no kidding at least a month, and about half of them are not frozen even after mixing them around occasionally. Not reliable and not worth the money.

Won't Melt In Your Drink

We use ours often! Work great in wine & drinks that you don't want "watered down" by melted ice. The hand washing is worth the cost of not having to buy ice for drinks.

We also have some that we use in our neck chiller wrap. No worries friends, we keep them separate.
