Region free 3D!

This live action retelling of Disney's animated classic is breathtakingly beautiful masterpiece. The performances are all exceptional, musical numbers are superbly executed, and special effects are jaw dropping. Those who are familiar with this tale as old as time will enjoy its reverence to a classic and fall in love with what this rendition has to offer. This film maintains the essence of the classic, while in some ways improving on the narrative. In many respects this film provides better backstory and character development than its animated predecessor.

If you're looking at this particular version of the film you are likely interested in the 3D disc which was not released stateside. Fortunately this UK version is region free, so you can enjoy this beautiful 3D version in North America. The 3D effects are just as mesmerizing at home as they were in theaters.

If you're a Disney collector, Beauty and the Beast fan, and/or a 3D blu ray enthusiast, this film is a must own.

I have seen a lot of versions of Beauty & The Beast over the years and in some ways it is not as Surrealistic as Jean Cocteau's version of Beauty And the Beast, it is still a magical and engaging film. The film is well written, well directed and well acted and totally captures the fantasy feeling of the story, especially the 3-D Blu-Ray version where you are transported to a different time and place which makes you feel like you are really there.

Although the characters are a little cartoonish I can forgive that as after all it is a Disney film. Beauty And The Beast is a film that can be thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family, both young and old.

Must see 3D! This is a Disney movie musical comedy in the classic sense. In fact, one of the best musical movie adaptations of anything in a very long time....certainly.longer ago than an original movie musical from 2016. Proof of just how good a 2D-3D project can look when planned properly. And if you' ve been craving the sort off "pop off the screen" for the fun if it effects a lot of 3D films don't necessarily utilize these days..then you may want to order the all region 3D disc fast. Apparantly, the Disney studio hierarcy elected for a 2D release for the U.S. only. Too bad really. So this is it..for now.

Solid B+ 3D in a Beautifully Shot Retelling

Her autotune is noticed almost as soon as the film starts and everyone I've watched with looks over at me with the same feared look. The look is temporary, however, because by the end of Provincial Life you're so completely enamoured by how beautifully the classic has been recaptured even the slightest fans will have nerd tears. The rest of the movie, for better and worse, follows much in the same vain. 3D wise this doesn't have the IMAX aspect ratio it's theatrical release did, which definitely dampens the 3D WOW-factor that many of the scenes were obviously meant to have. It was very obviously planned for 3D though as the cinematography leans very heavily into the mediums strengths. Solid B+ and definite recommendation for any princess or Disney fan.

A faithful adaptation of the original animated movie

The motion picture is a good mix of the Broadway show and the animated movie. If you like the Disney classics; you'll love this one. A nice surprise to learn Emma Watson can sing. The only thing I hated was Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, who suffers trying to imitate the genial french accent of the cartoon and that spoils (just a little) the best song of the movie (Be Our Guest). Another pleasant surprise was Emma Thompson replaying Mrs Potts, a character Angela Lansbury turn into a classic. I shouldn't be so surprised because Thompson is a superb actress but it was reassuring anyway.

I like the 2009 cartoon version with its pretty drawings colors.

However Emma can sing and act here unlike Harry WhatshisName..

The picture and sound quality are superior.

Lastly I don't care for the heavy handed Disney PC in this and Star Wars. George Lucas was right?

For the best technical quality and convenience, I use a Zidoo x9s or x10 streamer to play back BeautyAndTheBeast.3D.iso rips without any issues whatsoever. In full MVC/1080p resolution on my LG 65" OLED. Superb! (better than 2K jokes upconverted to 4K)

I loved the movie just in the regular 2D blu ray version, but seeing it in 3D brings a whole new dimension which just elevates the experience and makes it feel so real. Also, I loved the illusion of being hit in the face by the snowball, when Belle throws it at the Beast. I wish there were more 3D movies out there, but it seems everyone has moved on to 4K :-(

Excellent movie.. was as good as the cartoon! A definite add to your 3D library.. Disney not releasing 3D Movies to the USA much anymore..you have to get them from other countries.. usually region free.. Warner Bros the only Hollywood studio that still releases 3D Movies to the USA at this point..on a limited basis..

I saw this with a few friends in the theater and even bought the version available in the US. Disappointed with no 3D home release, so I took a chance with a region free disc. Tested it on my player and works just fine.

I love this movie! It is not released in 3d in the U.S., and i was glad that this version worked with my blu ray player. My television has the capability to make 2d movies into 3d, but i needed the 3d version of the film to view it via my viewsonic projector in my movie room. I was so glad when i found this international version! It made for a great movie night!
