Looks awesome, but very fragile

The sign was easy to make and looks really good. However after I was done shaping the wire and tying the neon rope to it, the wire to the battery pack frayed off and we had to solder it back on. I don't think I was being rough with it at all, the wiring is just very fragile. It looked awesome after we fixed it though.
