Needs some file/grinder work to fit together nicely

I like the product and plan to keep it with my climbing gear. It's nice to be able to climb up something and then retrieve equipment left on the ground. The one I received was not cut to precision though. It couldn't connect and close as a grapple because the bat gear tie slot wasn't large enough to slip into the gravity hook and the gravity hook teeth wouldn't fit into the slot on the bat gear tie. The nice thing is that it's made of good material, and with a little a quick trip to the grinder and a little dry graphite lube in the pins, it's a really nice tool and moves smoothly. Would've given it 5 starts if it was cut better.

Looks sturdy and well-made. Not crazy about needing the little gasket/rubber bands to keep it in grappling hook mode - worried they might eventually get lost. Other than that it looks like a really useful addition to any bug-out bag.
