Sensative skin beware

Yikes. I wanted to like these so much. I bought them to put over my guardian sensors. I have sensitive skin and Medtronic adhesives irritate my skin so I thought I would give these a try. My doctor gave me a sample and the sample piece didn't irritate me so I thought I was in the clear. I took off my first tulip flower today and I have the worst raised rash. I am going to give them another try with a barrier wipe because it stayed on perfectly for 4 days (sensor failed, yay diabetes!). It didn't even peel up on the edges. Basically, if you have sensative skin, be cautious.

I wanted to love these but...

I want to love these. For the varied shapes and colors and waterproof-ness. But
#1) They are really large - I just want to cover my Free Style Libre sensor and these are larger than they need to be for that.
#2) They really do NOT stick well at all - the edges curl up after a day or two of wearing and look icky.
#3) They really irritate my skin compared to Simpatch stickers so I end up removing them after just a few days (luckily in that sense they come off easily!)

So no, I can't recommend these.

My daughter is a T1D using CGM set, unfortunately she's highly allergic to the adhesives used for the transmitter. These have been a wonderful alternative. Fun bright colors while being much more gentle to her skin.

Works great with insulin pump infusion and sensors

These work great for my sensitive skin when I use the sensors for my insulin pump. Stayed on all week while vacationing at Disney World. Would recommend!!!! Fun shapes. Note: flower petals begin to curl up after about day 3-4, but center stays intact

Good Enough, Not the Best

This tape wasn't as awesome as everyone said it would be... the tape started peeling off after only a day or two, but it stayed on "enough" for the life of the sensor, so it's fine. I think the shapes make it more likely to do this, possibly, but I'm not sure, because I haven't tried the ovals. I used this tape with skin tac, which also may have increased its effectiveness. For example, when I use tegaderm with skin tac, the tegaderm works much better.

This product was used with a guardian sensor. I do not recommend using this tape for that purpose. The tape began lifting immediately and cut the life of the sensor in half because it did not secure it properly. DO NOT BUY!!!!

not great for sensitive skin

I really wanted to love these - NOT! They are not water resistant and with that in mind - they leave a terrible rash. They don't hold up well for the 7 days my Medtronic sensor is on. Its a shame cause I wanted something fun and different - there are not the ones!! However I am stuck with a bunch of them to use up - waste not want not. I will just replace them after every shower and be done with them sooner than later!

To everyone who feels they don't stick, please consider using a tacky adhesive wipe before adhering the patch. Makes all the difference! I use the Skin Tac wipes.

I love these bc they're super cute but my CGM never works when i wear them. 🙁
