I LOVE my Right Shears! At first I have to admit that I was a bit hesitant to use them but once I did I literally could not go back to using "regular" scissors. I especially love using them for those ridiculously hard to open Costco packages, in the kitchen to cut food for my kids, portion fish and poultry and for every wrapping job for my kids friends birthday parties. Can't wait to try them out during Christmas time. This is the first review I have ever written on Amazon. I had to write one because they are excellent quality and have made me a true believer that they were worth every penny. Will definitely be gifting these to friends and family!

Update: I was desperate to find a way to get the lotion out of my expensive facial and body lotion bottles, my right shears got the job done!

This is one of those wacky-looking products that seems like an obvious idea that won't work. Well, it works. Yes, you have to re-learn how to hold and use these scissors, but then you had to do that for the regular kind (you've just forgotten those childhood challenges). Once you've made the adjustment you find they work as advertised: On the thick, clamshell plastic that so many products come trapped inside, on cardboard boxes, and etc. Good price, too.

I originally returned them. But I had problems due to my arthritis. Shane contacted me and loosened the scissors and taught me how to work with them. I do like them very much now!!! I have never in my life had anyone work to solve a problem like Shane did. I am extremely impressed and would not hesitate ordering more!!!!

Right shears are awesome!! The angle at which the scissors are held makes it very easy on the wrist and elbow. It's a much more natural motion and reduces shoulder and wrist strain. The scissors are high quality and they cut through the toughest of material. They are great for cutting through large pieces of cardboard or other material. No more paper cuts on scrapes from hitting the material as it is cut. Great value for the price.

This would have been great if the handles were done better. It's configured to make you hold it in a very awkward way. If they had just made both loops the larger size this would be an exceptional product.

Right Shears is a product of high utility. It has a sturdy and pleasant design. Right Shears unique grips allows me to handle with ease as I navigate a cut on any material from cardboard or celery all the while keeping my arm and hand in an ergonomically correct position. I also appreciate the finesse of the blades on Right Shears. As I cut, I am reminded that I made a great investment in a pair of scissors!

What ignoramus designed these?

Since most of the humans on this planet are right handed, one would think that scissors would be designed for this fact. Nope. Either the designer is a leftie, or they didn't bother to try them out. The thumb hole is BELOW the finger hole. That is with the bent blade facing UP. My physical anatomy has my thumb ON TOP of my fingers, when my hand is held at the position to use scissors. If the designer thinks I should have the blade facing DOWN, I would ask, "Have you TRIED to use these in that position? It's dreadfully uncomfortable." What an incredibly useless gadget.
