Handy but not exact - AND OFFERED TO PAY ME TO REMOVE THIS REVIEW

I bought this to remove two bolts and I didn't know what size they were. The first came off with ease, but the second would not come off - the wrench spun and started to strip the bolt. I finally figured out what size I needed (10mm) and bought an exact fit and was able to get it off. So... it's handy probably for most things but it's not an exact fit so if you have something tightly screwed on it may not work.

Side note, they offered a full refund, which was appreciated. I said it wasn't necessary. Then they offered to pay me directly to take this review down. I can't say how disappointed I am. I've heard this was happening. I've trusted amazon reviews for years to help guide purchases. I'm guessing the reviews will be increasingly meaningless as this new industry of hiring people to take care of bad reviews takes hold.

Have tried it for three separate applications that should have been simple. Didn't do the job.

Update: The company became aware of my review, and contacted me very humbly. Their representative, Nicki Li was apologetic, and insisted that I allow her to send a replacement.

I must say I am impressed by the companies goal toward customer satisfaction, and it's representative Ms. Li.

The replacement tool performs much better. I am glad I gave it, as well as the company a second chance.

I can now add my complete recommendation to this company.

I really do like this tool, although it does have its limitations--so it's good to know that going in.

I find myself reaching for it, only to discover that either the diameter of the tool is too wide for where I want to use it, or that the bolt I want to use it on is maybe too shallow to really be gripped well.

That said, it's well made and, with regular oiling, should last a long time. When I AM able to use it, I've been really happy with how well it works--sure beats having to note the size of a bolt or nut, then sort through my bits to get the right one. I can be lazy about it now. :)

This might be a great idea but it did not work for me. I will recommended it only for a car mechanic or someone who work with big bolts/nuts as you must have huge space around the bolt head or otherwise this socket just will not fit.

I was about to give it only 3 stars but because I did not use it I gave 4 for the idea only.

Note: it looks very small in the pictures but it's very wide.

does what it says. Its great for around the house and light duty.. i would be a little hesitant to use this full time in a shop or something. i just feel like it would break. but for the weekend warrior like myself this is a god sent. feels well made and i expect it to last a good while

This thing can't handle bolts over 15lbs of torque. Was hoping to use this to alleviate socket changes, all it did was end up in the trash.

Great and easy to use. Used it the first day on building a shed. I could not find my other drill parts for the bolts. Put this bad boy on and did not have to look for the missing parts. Will buy another and keep it in the car and one in the tool bag
