Comes with 1 real beetle specimen. The actual type of beetle received varies. Students can observe the specimen directly under microscope or use it to prepare additional slides (preparation tools NOT included).

For instance, the digging leg of a cricket is distinctly different from the swimming leg of a water beetle because of their different functions.
