I thought $40 for a lid was too much until it went for a flash sale for 1/2 off and I got one. Well, it's worth the money. First of all it is made in USA and the quality of the martial used, the finish and the rubber seal is just what we can expect from YETI.

Seriously? Maybe if you put the two together and charged $40 as a set I MIGHT drop the cash...possibly. I guess Mr. Yeti has to make his Ferrari payment somehow.

I got the Yeti LoadOut bucket and this lid to go with it. It's OK, but not excellent.

My main complaint is that I had hoped it would be insulated as well as YETI cooler and cups are. It is not. Fill this bucket with ice and it will melt as fast as it would in any other bucket; even with the special lid.

Also, no hole for an aerator line to go through; so it's not really useful as a live bait bucket. It's just a regular bucket that looks cool, has a nice handle and skid pads on the bottom.

The lid fits tight, good seal. Looks killer. Doesn't feel very strong. I would not recommend standing on it, though you might be able to sit on it if you are light. I am 170 lbs. and I think I'd probably crack it, so I don't sit on mine.

Solid heavy duty product just like all Yeti products. It would be nice if there were someway to attach the lid with a string or clip so that when it's not on the bucket, you won't drop it in the water or something like that ! Yeti, invent some accessory for that ! Delivery was quick and on-time. Thanks !

While I'm not a Yeti fan at all, the majority of their products are ridiculously overpriced and over hyped, "plastic coolers for $600-$800" is absolutely stupid. That said the Yeti bucket at 29.00 is a really good and tough bucket, I bought 3 and they are doing the job and I'm sure they will last

Tight seal and very strong. Will not flex with a heavy person standing on it.

I put beer and ice in the bucket and the lid helps it keep even though there is no insulation.

It is clear but the honeycomb doesn't let you see much of what's in the bucket.

The lid is super strong, however, It doesn't appear to make a watertight seal when used with Yeti bucket. I left it out overnight in the rain and water appeared in the bottom of the bucket.

So sturdy you can sit on it. Fits perfectly & creates a nice seal. Plus it's just cool. You can see through it and it looks like a honeycomb.
