This is not even the item i bought. On top of that it us missing parts. Does not function properly. I did buy it used but i expected the item advertised. Lesson learned.

Get The TRX-4... Trust me... I am disappointed to say the least. upon opening the box. i was shocked at how flimsy and thin the body is and the links are thinnest links i ever seen. the whole vehicle feels cheap. even the electronics are flimsy. Controller feels ok. the servo is so weak it don't return to center and the motor didn't last 3 battery packs. I have been waiting on a motor for 3 weeks now. Axial is owned by Horizon Hobbies and they are dealing with some lawsuit and change of hands buying out other companies and such and it is directly affecting the end user. I waited 90 days fora charger warranty on a dromida product also owned by Horizon. Honestly the worst experience in an RC purchase ever. I since bought Traxxas TRX4 Bronco and it is night and day. wow what a huge difference. The TRX 4 is heavy duty. Trust me when i tell you the TRX4 is leaps and bounds better than this axial Jeep. and Traxxas support is awesome. they don't take months to help you. the final clincher is The TRX4 Portal axles are dominating the trial and the rock crawling with the clearance you get. Trust me I was an axial fan boy and this is only my second Traxxas vehicle. Traxxas TRX4 really stepped it up. if you buy this and Not the TRX 4 you will regret it. If you must get an axial Get the 2000 Jeep Kit becuase this 2017 jeep is a flimsy weak trial rig. oh yeah Want to race ? the TRX 4 has a 2 speed locking diffs and looks 20x better and has fender wells and light fittings ready to add lights. Even the axial wraith was a disappointment.

The chassis and suspension are excellent. Electronics get a C. No more plastic low torque servos already. The body is iffy. Too thin, too few upgrades at too high of a price. Skip this and buy the kit or the honcho and upgrade from there. No interiors available, the hood stickers are repellent and the body hops the sliders if you arent using wertymades body capture sliders. Crawling/trailing performance is great and easy to upgrade if you want more. Value for the price(when alot of its a licensed body) no. I picked up a honcho body after a few weeks of dealing with the JK.

Vague instructions on battery settings

Great RC Jeep right out of the box. One caution, there's a huge difference between lithium and Nicad batteries. Buried in the instructions is a small note that the speed controller is set for Lipo. You have to change a small setting switch on the speed control for different batteries which isn't mentioned. It took me a day to figure out why the vehicle wasn't working correctly. After that, all good. Long run times and great fun.

The control didnt work

I am very upset and disappointed, a month ago I bought this axial and the second time I went to use it, the control stopped working, the car did not roll or move the direction to any side, I took it to check with a technician and made several tests connecting different controls to the car and it worked perfect but when we put back the control that brought the car did not work, very annoying since in theory this is one of the best cars and brands that are in the market
