Died after first day of use. Buy extra LR44 batteries. My 5yo saved his money for it. He was so excited to get it and it died within 8 hours of unboxing, and without constant play.

I bought this for my kid and I would swear that when he wasn't looking it scuttled across the floor all by itself.

I'm writing this review while standing on a chair because I can hear tiny little dinosaur roars coming from under the table.

The kids loved these dinos, they are super cute and well made, however the batteries ran out within hours after opening. Is this what is suppose to happen? Thought they should have lasted a bit longer. Had to buy batteries for these immediately, cost $23.00. Could have sent it back but couldn't get it away from the child without lots of tears.

My 2.5 year old wanted one of these after seeing other kids with them. He received 2 as gifts. This one and a red one. This one is slightly nicer than the red one (which I believe is 1st generation and this green one is 2nd generation). Regardless, my son has learned how to console the fingerling and put him to sleep. He knows how to make him angry and how to calm him. He also knows how to make the two fingerlings interact with one another. These are all skills I had not anticipated prior to him getting them...or I would have been quick to purchase them for him myself! These are my new go-to gift for birthday gifts for 3-5 year olds.

My daughter loves Jurassic Park and this toy was perfect. Cute interaction when you pet it and small enough she can take with us in the car or going to stores so she loves that. So far no issues with battery, but we do turn the switch off when not in use to save battery life. Exactly as shown and packaged nicely.

These were adorable, so I had to get my twin boys each one. At first they were really excited, until they realized that there really isn't much to do with them. They sit on your finger, and make noises, but only if you're able to put your fingers in the right spot, which is hard for a 5 year old sometimes. They had issues getting it to say things, and even I had problems when I KNEW where to touch the toy and what it was supposed to say. I feel like these are more of a novelty toy...like the hatchibles or something? They're cute and trendy, but not much can be done with them, and I doubt they'll be popular for very long.

I bought this for a 3 and a 4 year old. The toy is cute and they liked them, but it's a little difficult for this age to get it to stay on their finger as shown in commercials. You need to search on the internet for info on how to get the dino to do more. It's passing gas and burp sounds were a big hit.

A Fingerling That Makes Sense and Isn't Annoying

Let's be honest, Fingerlings are just creepy looking and really don't make sense as a toy. But then I saw this Untamed T-Rex by Fingerlings and I thought my son definitely needs this! So, for his birthday I got him this Fingerling and he loved it. Apparently, you "train" it. It will react to sounds and movement as well as how you touch it. There are sensors on it and after looking I really cannot tell where the sensors are, but it's pretty cute when you pet it gently on the nose. It will "fart" it you touch it a certain way. I'm not thrilled about that. (I am not potty humor fan). The eyes blink and he'll go to "sleep." It comes with batteries so you don't have to go around looking for the unique sized batteries it requires. There is an on and off switch which I recommend to conserve the battery. This is ready to go right out of the package. This will make a great gift, stocking stuffer, Easter Basket filler, or last minute birthday gift. I would have to say out of all of the big gifts my son got, this small one was one of the hits. It is about the size of an iPhone 5. He just sits on your finger and for less than $20 bucks it's really nice toy and gift.
