Perfect for a Small/Medium Sized Room

I bought the Vornado Glide for my home office due to the way it looks, but was not disappointed with how well it actually works as a room heater. If you have a small-medium sized room or office that you want to heat up and don't want to ruin the look of your personal work/living environment, I highly recommend the Glide. If you have small kids that have a tendency to run in unexpectedly during a Webex meeting and start moving things around, this is a great heater for that as well due to the cool-touch operation. As for it's heating ability, I have a tendency to like warmer environments (70-74 degrees) and on full blast in a 350 sq ft room this heater made it warm enough for me to perspire.

Do not buy this heater!!!

The thermostat (rheostat)- the knob that controls the heater output, based on ambient room temperature, is too sensitive. I tried using this for my 10'x15' study, on the second floor, just to take a little chill off- but the heater was either always on, or off. And the toggle switch does nothing... there is no diff between the I and II setting. Looks cool, built well... it would make a better planter than it does a heater. Just to be clear, it really only puffs warm air, regardless of the setting. But after it runs endlessly for hours on end, it will overheat the average sized room.

Focused on looks, not function

This is my third unit now... I originally ordered two, and first one didn't work out of the box so I ordered the replacement. The second unit worked for a day, and then started blowing like warm air. Finally received the third unit and again, Luke warm air. I have another model until from the same company and it works 1000 times better. Despite it not being as attractive as this unit, I'll be swapping all three out for the unit that actually works!

This heater isn't an eye sore like most are. It's actually pretty neat lookin. Keeps the bedroom toasty and produces a soothing fan sound. Also, 5 Year warranty definitely makes this worth the $70.

This little machine will heat a 14x14 room in five minutes...Problem is I have trouble getting it to turn off and on when the temperature changes in the room...You get plenty of heat but I guess I'm saying the thermostat is lacking a little self control..

I wish I could give more than 1 stars, but when after 2 months of occasional use the product just died, I simply cannot do that. Until it started giving a burnt smell and then just broke, it was usable for a small room, particularly at short distance, e.g. heats up a cold bathroom with 15 degrees in 5-10min. The design is nice, although it is worth noting that it is all plastic which, compared to the photos, makes it feel like a toy.

Great little power house of a heater!! Don't be fooled by the size of it pictured on the side of the box. If you're trying to heat the room you're IN then it's fantastic!!

Very good output for a small, great looking heater. Warms a medium sized bedroom very evenly. Not blazing hot but moves a lot more warm air then most. I'd recommend it
