Now you can easily enjoy homemade pasta with the help of the bonVIVO Pasta Mia pasta machine. You don't have to travel to Italy to enjoy traditional Italian-style pasta. All you need to do is prepare the dough, the Pasta Mia will take care of the rest. Simply insert dough between the rollers, turn the crank and the dough is rolled out. A total of nine different thicknesses are available. With the help of the additional cutting rollers, pasta lovers can enjoy their favourite pasta - from spaghetti to Tagliatelle, even lasagne noodles are no problem. The Pasta Mia's non-slip base can be securely fastened to any smooth and clean surface. Unsafe table clamps are a thing of the past. This is my first time owning a pasta machine, so I can't compare it to the more popular brands such as Marcato. I did my research and decided to go with this because it's cheaper and I only cook pasta once in awhile. I tested it using a dough with 150g 00 flour, 50g semolina flour and 2 eggs. I mixed it together and let it sit in the refrigerator for an hour. First off, the suctioning device of this machine really holds it in place. I would say that if you have quartz or granite countertops, this would be great for you. It does come with a clamp for those of you who have tile countertops or when the suction stops working. The Dough went through the rollers with ease. I didn't even dust it and it was fine. Sorry, I got lazy. The spaghetti and fettuccine cutters had no problems cutting the dough also. I rolled all the rollers in a back and forth motion with the crank to get the excess dough out and nothing got stuck in the crevices. Over all, I would say it's a great product and I would recommend it.

It suctions to the counter!!!!!!

This is an awesome machine! It's really pretty first off, but the best feature for me is that it suction cups to the counter! I use it for polymer clay, I don't use it for pasta, but what I need it for it works amazingly. I highly recommend it.

Machine would not cut the dough....it just balled up in the grooves. Do not purchase. The plastic combs on the bottom of the blades were off when I received the machine.....not easy to re-install. Returned....received partial refund.

I ordered this machine because it doesn't need to be clamped to the edge of a table. I was looking for a pasta machine to use with polymer clay that I could use on a flat surface. The suction that holds the machine is just ok. Not great, not terrible. I can work with it but it needs to be re- placed so the suction holds pretty regularly.

I really like the 2 different attachments that you use by placing the handle in them.

My biggest issue and the reason I'm not too happy with this machine is that the rollers are not even and it is very inconsistent in thickness. Its super hard to make the clay even, it rolls out at an angle because the rollers don't stay straight.

It also grabs clay inside which is a huge pain to clean and get out.

The features of this machine are perfect for what I want and the price point is great. Unfortunately it just doesn't live up to it's potential.

I use this pasta machine weekly to press polymer clay. It works well on all thickness settings. My only complaint: the suction lets go so quickly I don't even apply the suction any more. I just crank, and it is harder to use. Because it rocks as I crank, the metal base marred the surface of my dining table. I now put a cutting mat under the machine to protect my table.
