You can hear the bearings first spin out of the box. Has a drag on the bearings. Base is made out of plastic.

Not as high quality as I expected for double the price of other vortecon listings. Came with a machining defect on the top and wobbles a bit when spinning. The bottom pad is also a hard plastic instead of a soft pad, which allows it to slide around when trying to spin. It is cool, I'll give it that. Nice weight and feels/looks great besides the defect.

barely spins, only goes for about 15 seconds max. the quality is very much so lacking, wish I never bought it.

It's fun to spin while i'm thinking and stare it except... It has a wobbly base which makes the spinning look irregular Disappointed in that portion.

The base isn't 100% secure so in turn, giving it a lot of force, it'll spin for around 15 seconds, max. Plus you can hear it which is annoying.
