How is this cup with catching everything and not leaking?

The DOT cup has a firm rim in addition to a super soft and flexible body. This means that it's comfortable, but also creates a perfect suction seal. If properly inserted leaks are a non-issue. From a capacity standpoint the DOT cup has 3x the volume of a super tampon, so even during your heaviest flow there will be less trips to the bathroom.

Some cups are impossible to get out, is DOT like that?

Nope! We've heard horror stories of suction like a giant squid, and women having to go to emergency clinics in tears - but breathe easy! The #1 secret to comfortably removing DOT (and all cups) is pinching the base of the cup to release suction before AND while you pull it out. The stem is there to bring the cup down from high inside, but should not be used to actually remove. Firmly grip the base of the cup to release the suction seal as you pull down and out.

We designed the Dot Cup specifically to be ‘one size fits MOST.’ If you have a low cervix you can trim the stem, even going so far as to cut it completely off. Consider the Dot Cup a compromise that fits between most brands’ size 1 and size 2 - a size Medium. We have happy customers that range all the way from virgin to multiple vaginal childbirths.
