If you are doing any amount of pedalling or sweating, these guards will not work for you. The sleeves have a rubber silicone strip that is supposed to grip your skin, however, WHERE it grips is halfway up your thigh which will inevitably end up at the smallest portion of your leg; right above your knee. Since much of sleeve is above your knee, the pad also shifts downward and becomes a shin guard only, whole leaving your knee exposed. I highly recommend the Leatt 3DF Hybrid EXT Knee and Shin Guards, which stay in place and are cheaper than these.

These knee guards feel very comfortable and give good protection. But they don't last long. Just after several times in the skate park (under jeans) they tear apart (see photo).

I purchased a set of knee pads and elbow pads for both my son and I for when we mountain bike. I figured as a coach I would lead by example and wear protective gear and I am sure glad I did. We were pushing ourselves during a particularly bush heavy, rocky terrain when we lost momentum and footing and two of us crashed or more accurately fell off our mountain bikes. Not a scratch on me, my G-Forms took the hit and are still going strong! The other coach, not as lucky. After removing pebbles and debris from his leg and knee and not mine, he now thinks differently about G-Form.

We are using them as goalie shin guards in lacrosse and they are perfect. Balls hitting the padding are nullified, without the stiffness and discomfort of traditional lacrosse or soccer shin guards.

I purchased these for riding my bike on the singletrack. I am newer to riding and have had a few spills an I didn't want to keep riding without protection. I had tried many other knee pads that felt bulky or caused me to sweat really bad. These are awesome very light weight as if they are not even there. I purchased the Elite elbow guards as well. Very impressed!

FINALLY a less BULKY Alternative to POC that WORKS

I have been using POC (Air) knee and elbow pads for years. They only have the shin pad in a heavier version. I have tried FOX, TLD, you name it and could never find a pair that stays put as well as the POC. These are PERFECT. Lighter weight, less bulky, plenty of protection and they stay put

From what I saw it seemed to be a quality product..delivery was prompt..but I had to return it because the sizing was off...for an average built 5.9 200lb guy the large size could barely get over my calves...I called about getting an extra large but they were out...I was sent a prompt refund...I had the same problem with the matching elbow guards..

Had to search around for the right price and a good price, but I finally found these. I use this product for mountain biking and like the comfort of these knee guards. Initially, I borrowed a set from a friend, and liked the product from day one.

I've worn these for three rides. They weren't restrictive at all when climbing. They were light and comfortable and easy to get on and off. The problem lies in their durability. They did save my knee in a crash a couple days ago but they shredded at the vertical seam along the inside of my knee/calf. While only leaving my legs with a few scratches, they did leave my wallet a little light for how long they lasted.
