ZØRE-Xis a caliber-specific, electro-mechanical lock that attaches to a semi-automatic firearm, preventing unauthorized use, while ensuring immediate usability by the owner when needed. ZØRE X is the fastest way to go from a locked firearm to disengaging, chambering a round and firing.

RAPIDIAL
ZORE X's revolutionary combination dial is designed to allow quick unlocking under any circumstances, even in zero visibility. The dial counts the clicks, and quickly recognizes the correct sequence. You don't need to start from a specific point and even the direction (clockwise or counterclockwise) that you begin to turn the dial doesn't matter. These two factors allow you to unlock your weapon without looking at it. You can choose a up to 20 digits, with up to 9 clicks each digit. You can roll past the last digit and the lock will still recognize the correct combination and immediately unlock. You won't realize how fast it is until you try it yourself.

LOCKING MECHANISM When locked - ZORE-X's patent pending cartridge sits in the chamber, without applying any pressure to the gun. Any attempt to charge the gun causes the cartridge to radially expand with 10x the force being applied to it. It prevents motion and immediately locks the gun.

I bought this product last week and I still can't get this thing to unlock. I have put in the master code over twenty times and it still will not do the initial unlock. I have checked battery status and replaced battery but still nothing. I like the concept but I must have gotten a bad one. I have contacted zore and tried their recommendations but to no avail still nothing.

Excellent piece. Works as advertise and it is also very easy to configure. I highly recommend this item to anyone who would like to have quick access and also secure firearm.

Was pretty good until it wouldn't come off

I bought 2 of these for safer and faster home defense but something happened (not the battery) wherein the lock has been stuck on my weapon for weeks without any sign of coming off. Zore tech support has been sending me emails trying to resolve this but no success yet. I'm about ready to saw it off with my dremel, but don't want to damage my handgun in the process.

First, I received the Zore-X lock as a gift, not sure where it was purchased. I was impressed for months, showed it off to friends, until one day it was locked in the chamber and wouldn't unlock. Their customer service initially responded immediately and instructed me to manipulate my gun's extractor out of the way, lock the slide to the rear, and wiggle the Zore-X loose. THAT is the level of security I've been trusting my gun with? So I wiggled it loose, returned the product a couple of months ago and have heard nothing since. There is no number to call on their website so I just hit customer service with emails from time to time. Try a different gun lock. Zore-X design has a fatal flaw and no current customer service...
