Playing Smash Talk is a great way to strengthen descriptive and vocabulary skills. Turn on the buzzer to start the first game. The clue-giver from Team One draws a card and gives verbal clues to his or her teammates to help them guess the five words on the card. When guessers have named all five words correctly, the clue-giver presses the buzzer to stop the timer. Play now moves to Team Two who must guess their five words in less time than Team One. If Team Two is too slow, the buzzer will stop at Team One's time. Teams must hurry to beat the time of the team before them. Clue-givers may NOT use any form of the word on the card. Sounds are allowed, gestures are not. This fast, fun word game is a great addition to family game nights and keeps players on the edge of their seats!
