The pictures advertising this product make them appear much larger than they actually are. They are smaller than a charcoal briquette. I'm not sure what kind of fire pits people have - but, I like big fires and these would get lost in there. Will be returning.

We love these! Bought th hem for a Halloween party but they have become a permanent fixture to our fireplace. After 4 months of almost constant use they still look great!

These skulls are pricey but really look great on the fire pit for the Halloween party. When it cooled down it went right back in the box good as new for next year.

Love the size of these pieces. They look great in the fire pit both lit and not. I wish the coloring of the skull were lighter and the eye and nose holes more realistically shaped (vs just circles poked in) but for the price point they look great.

It was much smaller than I had expected. can hardly see it in the fireplace. It would have been nice if it was bigger and the flames actually up into the pumpkin.

Fireplace skull and bones

I love this - though one of the bones was broken upon opening the delivery. Comments suggested this may occur. I decided to use it anyway. Just know it is very fragile. If used in a fire pit I expect it would break into more pieces. We will use in our gas fireplace and store it carefully wrapped.
