I believe in writing reviews based solely on the quality of the product, not pricing, but it's worth saying that these things are WILDLY overpriced :).... but there is nothing else like them on the market and they are absolutely AMAZING! The difference between flyaway collar and Power Stays is significant!

I'd go ahead and pick up the extra backings while you are at it, as you are sure to need them (they get lost easily if you forget to remove them before taking the shirt off)...

Early designs had stronger magnets, which was good for thicker shirts. This kit is replacing a pair that I had for a long time, and loved. I lost that set when I forgot to remove the stays from a shirt I sent to the cleaners. I like the fact I now have 3 different sizes, the 2" size is perfect for the newer style/cut of shirts. The stays can be difficult to pull out of the leather pouch, but I figure that will loosen up over time. Overall I am satisfied, not overly impressed.

These are awesome! 3 different sizes depending on the collar size which is extremely versatile. I have always battled "loose" collars and trying to fix them: extra starch, doubling up on collar stays etc., nothing ever worked. These are awesome! I am not sure the type of magnet that is used, but these suckers are strong and are going nowhere. My initial fear was the magnets would be weak and fall off and be lost forever, NOT the case!.

The magnets in the very expensive set are not strong enough. The first two times they were worn with standard dress shirts, the magnets were immediately lost when they fell off.

The product works as described. I purchase extra magnets with my set but after months of use have failed to lose even one. The small leather carrier is perfect to throw in a dop kit for travel.

The magnets are strong and pull through any weight of shirt material I've used them with. Assortment of sizes comes in handy. For the price of one moderately-priced dress shirt, I can wear shirts without a tie with confidence. No more Saturday Night Fever collar!
