Could be great if they fixed some simple issues
by mom2three (2 out of 5 stars)

I bought 2 of these, one for the front and one for the rear of my e-bike.

Pros-

It was easy to attach these to both the front and rear of the bike using the included attachments. The light is bright and easy to operate form the handle bar controls. It was very easy to sync both lights to one controller. (Nowhere in the instructions did it say how but I figured it out easy enough.) In daylight the lights shine nowhere near as visibly as night but for dusk riding they make you much more visible which is what I need. So far I have only charged the taillights once and they are still working fine, although I haven't logged many hours yet with the lights. They are easy to charge with the usb cable.

Cons-

I cannot for the life of me understand why the units are rechargeable but the handle bar control is not. The control battery died within 1 week of having the unit and only using it for about 20 minutes total. It was near impossible to change the battery in the controller but the light will not work without it. It took taking out 4 microscopic screws to get it open only to have to take out 2 more mini screws to release the battery. Such a poor design and one of the reasons I removed 3 stars from the rating. I hope that with the new battery it last longer.

Another con is that there is no auto shut off, so forget to turn it off, you will come back to a dead battery. Another taillight I had automatically turned on when it sensed movement int he bike and an auto shut off when it sensed no movement in the bike for 5 minutes. That was an AMAZING feature. Another con is that the clip that the light goes into has a flimsy tab you press to release. I can see that breaking easily in the future when you need to remove the light for charging. One major design flaw is that the button to turn the light on is on the back and difficult to reach once mounted to the bike.

So overall the concept is nice and I love the idea of having the blinkers from the easy to reach handle bar controls. I think that if some more thought was put into the design of this and these problems were remedied this could be a 5 star product.

Great Turn Signal
by James Carlson (5 out of 5 stars)
March 10, 2019

The remote is not rechargeable. A red light in the Left Signal area stays on when the switch is turned on. I'm returning.

Update. My wife told me to just cover up the light that annoyed me. Well I opened it up and placed a piece of black tape over the red light. This is a great turn signal and tail light. This allows the cars to stay back and not pass you when you have to make a left turn. It connects easy to the battery handle of my ebike.

Signal strength is insufficient to work with a tandem trike!
by Gerald (2 out of 5 stars)

My wife & I have a tandem trike and desired to have a means to signal turns such that I did not have to remove my hand from the steering bar to use hand signals. This light, which looks well made, works marvelously across the 58" distance from the control panel to the spot where the light is mounted on a rear bar, as long as my wife isn't sitting in her seat!!!!! Got the first clue during a stop to inspect the rig when I thought it was flashing the red light, and was doing nothing. Rode home using hand signals to debug. While she went inside, I tried it and to my surprise, it was working. Tested again before she got back on and it was still working. Rode again, stopping to check the rig, and nothing. Then it hit me. The signal from the control panel was not passing thru her body. We'll move the control back to her handbar so that it'll be closer. Now I'll tell her what we're about to do and she'll issue the signal. Less than optimum, but, I guess that will distribute the teamwork.

Really a Piece of Useless Garbage
by B. Percell (1 out of 5 stars)

I originally purchased this light primarily for the blinker (turning) option and to provide some additional red (notification) lighting during daytime rides. While the solid or blinking red light is definitely bright enough to be noticed during daytime riding, the switch that is supposed to operate the light never worked correctly. More specifically, the switch could not be turned off less it was completely disassembled, and the battery removed. Consequently, every time I used the light I was forced to remove and replace the pancake battery in the switch. Needless to say, after doing so 3-4 times both the light and switch were appropriately thrown in the garbage. Hence, my title "Really a Piece of Useless Garbage." I wouldn't recommend wasting your time and money on this poorly designed, low quality bicycle light as there has to be something more functionable/reliable on the market.

so far so good

I've been using this on my rides to work, and haven't had issues with it yet that weren't my fault. The rubberband thing to hold the remote on fell out of my pocket, so I have to use a diff one (the smaller of the 2 it came with is too small.) Otherwise, it's fine. I wish I could get headlights for this same control.

Edit: I had the set in my purse, and evidently it pushed the remote button. They are now un-synced and will not reconnect.

Nice Bike Light - Left, Right, Hazard Blinking.
by Wishfour (5 out of 5 stars)
October 31, 2019

I love this bike light. It's just awesome. I wish they would have used a hard plastic bracket to attach the light instead of the rubber band attachment just to make it sturdier. Other than that, it's a great light. It has left, right and hazard blinking. Easy to use and install. I can't speak about the battery life because I have not had it that long.

Worth every penny.

Great product for a great price. Remote is nice and clicky, also backlit when a button has been depressed.

Nice and responsive, high visibility and the turn signals function as they should. Overall a great product and will definitely recommend to anyone in the market for a rear light assembly, either for bicycle or motorized bicycle.

It can not be controlled if you don't have ltierally the blue lighted remote....
by Matt (2 out of 5 stars)
July 23, 2019

Great taillight but if your little remote is glitched and or is broken YOU CAN NOT TURN ON THE MAIN RED LIGHT WITH ALL 3 SIGNALS from the twilight itself, I've tried through several clicks on the main taillight. So pretty much this bike taillight without the little remote is a literal SUICIDE with real cars?

Remote eats batteries - useless!

Like some other reviewers have said - I received mine with a dead remote battery. Replaced it, and the next one failed within weeks. Did it again, and same. I'm done with this thing, get a different brand.
