You can see but maybe not too well, how much bigger this colander is compared to my older ones.

Also, it is strong and sturdy.

The price is good too.

It's easy to grab, with those plastic covered handles.

I think it is pretty enough to have fruits in it, just like the pictures of the product suggested.

I'm pleased with my purchase.

The size is ideal, since it is spacious enough to strain the pasta easily when it is poured from a pan with boiling water. Since the handles are heat insulating, one can handle the strainer immediately after putting hot food, the price seems right to me! for the use that can be given to the strainer.

Haven't found anything to dislike about this colander. I originally bought it to clean gravel from a fish tank. The micro holes were just the right size to prevent the gravel from escaping. The handles made it easy to hold on. Now that I've got it, I expect I will order another to use for food. I like the size as it is big enough to catch the pasta easily when pouring from a pan of boiling water. Given that the handles are heat resistant, one can handle the colander immediately after putting hot things in it. And if that's not enough, the price is right too!

I purchased this to replace an old plastic colander that got to close to heat and melted. This stainless steel colander was my choice to help in the kitchen. It is Light weight and with heat resistant handles makes it easy to hold , even with a pound of hot pasta . The 5 quart was a good size and it is constructed well. This will be in my kitchen for a Long time. I am glad I made this purchase !

Very nice colander . Rigid construction , quality stainless loop handles on each side of the colander . Stainless steel body , drain perforations are fairly small.

The holes are around the entire bowl. I love that. The one I have (that this is going to replace) does not have nearly as many holes. The bowls is also larger than the one I have. That is great because we make a lot of food. The material is very strong. The handles feel strong and appear to be long lasting. Great purchase.

very bright stainless colander, very good looking on my pot rack. has a large capacity much larger than the old one it is replacing. the coated handles with make it easy to handle when straining hot food.

I use this colander almost daily. For everything from draining pasta to sifting the chaff from home roasted coffee beans, this dishwasher safe colander is so useful and yet not expensive.

Awesome!!i love love this strainer! Beats my Kitchenaid rectangle strainer hands down. That thing broke (plastic). I just love this and I use it so often I may buy it a sister haha!
