Tips on using Duex pro:

• Duex pro must be seated against the table top. The magnets are only meant to hold Duex pro upright, they cannot hold Duex pro on by themselves. In this case, Duex pro can act as a leg to keep the laptop from collapsing.
• For Windows, Extend displays via- Settings > Display > Multiple Displays > Extend these displays.
• For Mac, Extend desktop via: Choose Apple > menu > System Preferences, then click Displays.  Select the Arrangement tab. Make sure that the Mirror Displays checkbox isn't selected.
• Search the name of "Installation Video for Duex" on Youtube. You will find the video tutorial for installation. 

If you are using a Windows laptop, and the screen is blinking or blank, please do the following:

1. Remove your DisplayLink driver by using the following software: DisplayLink Installation Cleaner (9.1.1462) 

2. Re-install the Windows Driver using the following software: DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Windows (9.2 M1),  Restart your laptop.

If you are using a Mac, Kindly install the driver: DisplayLink macOS App PREVIEW - Alpha (0.1 Alpha)

As a former consultant and now a digital nomad, I highly recommend this product. The designers of this product clearly had ergonomics in mind: it's light to carry and promotes good posture (my neck is spared from repeatedly looking down at a resting, angled monitor). I'm definitely getting more work done in the same amount of time and my return on investment on this product is off the charts.

Worthwhile product, especially for college students

As a fulltime college student & intern, taking both online and in-person courses; I spend an enormous chunk of time using my laptop, juggling between different tabs full of: lecture notes, word docs, and online lectures.

The Duex Pro Portable Monitor has made it possible for me to more efficiently tackle my college workload, with less hassle.

The portable nature of this product allows for it to easily fit into my book bag alongside my laptop and textbooks, without taking up too much space. The Duex Pro is light, and adds little to no weight to my bag, which I have to lug around campus.

So far, I've recieved many compliments and questions from curious college students (and professors too!!!) inquiring about this product, and where they can get one for themselves.

I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who is looking to optimize their time, and work management during the upcoming semester.

I'm confident that this product would work wonders for freelance professionals and any job position that requires you to actively engage with a computer.

Best purchase I've made this year.

My only complaint is that I didn't find out about it sooner.

The monitor is perfect, I don't know why many people complain about the magnets, but if you follow the directions it works perfectly as advertised. Just pushed the monitor down towards the table, it will not collapse the laptop it's so easy to use.

Great option for a laptop but is should come with the kickstand. I he magnets do not hold the screen straight it starts to sag when it is extended

The unit was too big for my MacBook, but I figured I have a really small laptop. That's why I bought the kickstand. This works great on my work laptop though, it's much bigger. Everyone in the office loves it

I love everything about this. I love the flexibility of using my lap top but always missed my dual monitor capability from the office. This was easy to put together and use within minutes out of the box. I do need to get a new computer case, b/c my computer is just a little bit thicker now, but it is totally worth it. I have recommended this about 50 times in the couple of weeks since I got my Duex!

I really wanted to give this product a good review, but the quality is poor. I got a broken screen, with one of the magnets in the back already misplaced, so I can't really use it. Don't be fooled by the nice packaging!

I needed a duel screen for school because I watch my lectures online and write out my notes at the same time. I came across this product and thought it would be the perfect solution. In theory, if this product worked as advertised it would have been amazing BUT it was too good to be true. I have had the product for about 3 weeks now and it's been one problem after the other. Installation was easy and very simple no issues there. Applying the magnets and downloading the drivers was smooth and the mechanics of the product are good. When plugged in I found that the second screen turns on and off here and there. This becomes increasingly annoying because this causes blackouts on both the duex screen and the screen of your laptop, so you basically can't do any work while it's happening. It started out only happening every so often so it was annoying but manageable. The longer I used the screen the worse it got. To the point where I stopped using the screen for a little bit. Three weeks in the USB-C cable it came with (I use a macbook pro) broke. the metal part of the USB-C head got stuck in my computer and I had to pry it out with pliers. I ended up buying another cable which has helped some, but for the price it is listed at this shouldn't be happening. I was really hoping this product would work well because I was very excited to purchase it. I think it still has potential but I would wait until the company fixes all these glitches before investing in one.
