Cost less than a standard flash light to own (batteries)

The perfect flashlight very bright for it's small size I tossed out my old style flashlights. Uses cheaper AAA batteries that last a long time because the light source is a semiconductor called a LED that can never burn out and uses less current compared to older C and D batteries in a flashlight with a bulb that burns out

FAKE's! Maybe 100 lumens definately NOT even close to 1600 lumens & these are poor copies, Do NOT bu

FAKE UltraFire CREE XML T6 LED Flashlights (3 mode and 5 mode) From BBQbuy in HongKong and sold by both CTSC and WorthTrust (and others I have not purchased from yet) LED lights are completely different sizes and lumens and neither are anywhere near the 1600 lumens advertised. One flashlight has the UltraFire "R" logo for registered trademark but is clearly a fake and the original company info has been ground off leaving clear scratches and grooves in the metal in two places where they have then painted on the fraudulent logos and product number/name That one also came stamped as MLX-T6 not even XLM-T6 it was sold as. UltraFire does not make an MLX-T6 and that is not what I ordered anyway. Neither were "5 Mode" only 3. Neither shined any brighter then the REAL 200 lumen flashlights I own! I am shocked that Amazon continues to allow fake products to be sold with inaccurate descriptions. Look on the UltraFire website before purchasing, the flashlights advertised here are totally FAKE, fraudulent, poorly made copies that absolutely do not shine as bright or work as well as the REAL UltraFire Flashlights! Side-by-side photos show same flashlight on bottom of each photo. Bottom one even fakes the copyright registration "R"

Great flashlight, even if it cost more.

I don't know what a 1600 lumens light looks like but from what I understand from my research it's not possible with the T6 Cree without burning it up quick. If I remember right I think my finding were around 1000 lumens possibility. I see many people loving this light and many crying. So let's say this.
1. For the price, it's amazing.
2. When making a battery purchase for this you got to look for more than proper size and battery power capacity; you got to find a battery that can discharge enuff amperage to power the light fully. I would go with something that can discharge at a min of 1.5 amp, bit to be safe I'd go with 2.5. Energizer make a non rechargeable lithium that can perform this, or you can spend $15 and get a set of very high quality high drain Imr 18650 rechargeables that can discharge 25+ amps and have a capacity around 3000mah. Stick with that high review batteries and names you know. You may not of heard of some of these high drain batteries because they could be quality rewards made for vaping mods that can required 35+ or more amp drain.

And if you ever need a jump on your car you can just stick 4 of these puppies together and jump away. Lol.

super bright

Super bright. Not a full 1600 lm all the time, that is the peak ability of the led at 10w. Like when it's on strobe. On high this will push about 700 lm. Just make sure you have plenty.of batteries

UPDATE 3/25/14

PROS

Price: it's cheap And you get a lot for your money.

Brightness: I live out in the country no street lights at all, it is easily as bright as a head light when I have to check my animals at night the chickens think it's daytime.

Weight: next to nothing.

Zoom: I actually really love the pull to Zoom, much more convenient than twist.

CONS

Within a week the modes stopped working. High medium and low were allergen same. Strobe barely works and SOS is barely noticeable. I don't mind though.

The light is just now starting to flicker even with fully charged batteries but I have probably put over 100 hours on it. And for $10 that's okay with me

Update 5/27/2014

Ordered a replacement... And this is just rubbish. Had switch issues from the first time turning it on. About 1/3 as bright as my last one. And it eats batteries terrifyingly fast. I will only get maybe 10 minutes of run time...

Why couldn't I get the same kind as last time?

Only visible difference is the color of the button.

I will be trying another

Perfect for the price if you get the good one

I bought two in different moments and I didn't realized I was buying from different sellers. I received two different flashlights. Maybe this explains why there are so different ratings for the (supposedly) same product.
- The first one, from TrustEHarbor, was the one in the thumbnail picture. I love it. Lot of light and very low price. Perfect size. Button works perfect. It took three weeks from China and it was lightly packaged in a small bubble envelope but, surprisingly, arrived in perfect condition. I love its size and it works perfect.
- The second one I bought it from HZONE and they sent a different model from the one on the picture. At first sight it looked OK. This one was bigger and thicker but not so different from the first one. The problem was that the battery was loose inside the body and failed to make contact properly, so some times worked but most of the times failed, especially when moved. I decided it to tweak it rather than sent it back, so now it works better but it's not the best solution. But at least it makes the same amount of light than the other model and has the same type of zoom.

So, with so many different sellers sending different models, this is a lottery. Good luck when you buy yours.

Good for the price

The flashlight sells for under $10. People who expect the same quality and durability of a Strealight or a Fenix costing three to ten times as muc are being unrealistic.

The flashlight arrived in an OEM brown box with some bubble wrap protecting it. When the bottom was unscrewed, there was a battery pack inside. The battery pack holds three AAA batteries. AA-size batteries will not work. You can also use a 18650 battery, which is about the same size as the battery pack is. If you plan on using this flashlight regularly I highly recommend that you buy a rechargeable 18650. If you're planning on taking it on an extended (i.e. long camping) trip, you may want to buy a rechargeable battery pack and charger set. You can find two-packs with charger for less than $10 here on Amazon.

This is a good-sized flashlight. One can get all four fingers around the barrel itself. It's not the type that would fit well in a pocket, although it will fit well in a backpack and might work in a purse. It's probably too unwieldy for a telescopic sight. I don't recommend putting it on a belt as-is. I don't use a carry strap with my flashlights, so I pulled mine off, and it took very little strength to tear it off. I doubt the strap that comes with it would hold up to much bouncing around. If you must hang it from a belt, I suggest that you buy a more sturdy strap for it.

The flashlight has a recessed button which is "reverse clicky," meaning that it must be pressed all the way in and then released (with a click) to turn it on. It has five modes, which can be toggled by tapping the button. I couldn't tell any difference between the two highest modes. The mode cycle goes: high, high, low, strobe, SOS. The flashlight briefly remembers the last mode when turned off but will reset to the first mode (high) if left off for about a minute.

The high beam puts out a nice wide pan-effect flood-light, which is even and consistent. It can also be zoomed, via pulling out the telescoping front part, into a very narrow and brighter focused light. While neither are 1600 lumens, the wide light is more than enough to see in pitch black, and the focused light is very bright and carries a good distance. The high beam is probably strong enough to scare off any unwanted animals. The flashlight also has a low beam which gives off enough light to see where one is going and can be used regularly. Strobe mode does exactly what it's supposed to do: it pulsates rapidly and would work for an ad-hock warning light. It operates on high beam. The SOS mode gives out three fast flashes, a short pause, three longer flashes, a short pause, and three fast flashes, followed by about a one-second pause, or the Morse "SOS" signal.

I strongly doubt that this flashlight will last long underwater, although it should be okay in the rain.

Overall, this is a good flashlight for the money. I wouldn't recommend that anybody use it for a mission-critical purpose; you'll want to buy a much more expensive flashlight, but it should be okay for an emergency light, camping trip, or for everyday use.

Cheap, Bright, You should get one!

This is the most powerful little flashlight I've ever seen. I can't even fathom a light being brighter than this, and if you have one I cannot believe there isn't a government agency looking to take it from you!

The zooming feature is great for casting light over a wide spectrum, or for narrowing in on a target. When I looked at the images of this product, and saw someone demoing it and shining it at a building I thought "That guy is shining that cheap flashlight on at a poster!". Then mine came - trust me - this thing could be used in place of airport navigation lights.

Pros:
- Impossibly bright
- Can easily zoom in and out
- Comfortable in your hand (When zoomed in or out)
- Wrist strap fits around your wrist
- Multiple Modes (Off, On, Strobe, SOS)
- Sleek and professional appearance

Cons:
- Durability (It makes sounds when you are caring it around - as if some things a loose) It also seems like it might not survive a drop from waist level to concrete.
- Goes through batteries fairly quickly (I recommend getting the recharge kit!)
- Strobe/SOS modes and accidentally be enabled (They are turned on by quickly switching the light from Off to On, to Off to On again)

I think it's great.

I am a flashlightaholic, I may own 50 of them. Here's what I think of this flashlight after owning the light for about 2 weeks.

First, this is nowhere near 1600 lumens. Still, there are some VERY good aspects of this light. It throws a beautiful beam. that is, the circle of light it throws is not tainted with lots of circular shadows in the beam. In fact, it may have the best beam of any light I own.

You are not going to spot deer with this light, while it's got a lot of power keep in mind that it's only 3 AAA batteries. It will not shine as bright as a light using much larger power sources (like cr123, etc). But it is quite strong for a light using AAA batteries.

This light would be perfect for changing a flat, checking your steaks, or finding the fuse box. You know, general around-the-house stuff. I've not owned this long enough to comment on its durability. Although it seems quite well built.

I like to do night photography and, so far, it has worked wonderfully. I think this is a real bargain for the price.

Personally, I am quite pleased and may buy another.

Good luck with whatever you choose!

Powerhouse

Uses a 18650 battery, or three AAA batteries. I've inserted fhe former, and this flashlight is a real powerhoulse. The beam zooms from spot to flood easily by simply sliding the front housing forward or backward. Couldn't be easier. The flood setting lights most of my backyard, and the zoom setting could easily illuminate my neighbor's bedroom window, several hundred feet away, if it were shone there. It's compact (measurements are listed) and easily drops in a man's front pocket, or in a woman's purse. I bought it for my glove box as an emergency light in my car. The 18650 battery should resist heat and cold better than any alkaline AAA batteries. I'm very satisfied with this purchase, and the price was incredible. The on/off switch is a button at the end of the flashlight, and it's very easily operated and is out of the way if you're rumbling around under the car or holding it in your mouth while trying find something in the dark with both hands. (Carefully wash off the flashlight first.) It ships from Hong Kong, so you'll have to wait a few days, but it's certainly worth it to get this price.

Excellent little torch for the price

I am sorry but if you thought you were going to get a 1600 lumen flashlight for 9 dollars in a product this small you are sadly mistaken, is that false advertising? Yes it is but who cares this is still the brightest flashlight I have ever owned and I would encourage you to find a brighter one for anywhere near this price because you won't. With that being said this light still produces several hundred lumens, I would say somewhere around 500 (give or take when compared to my other lights) with regular AAA batteries, probably more with better ones. All in all this flashlight is still EXTREMELY bright and well worth the 9 bucks I spent on it. If anyone is looking for an inexpensive and powerful light I highly recommend this. Also with all the confusion about the various sellers I just want to say I got mine from net happy, it is my second one and I have no complaints with this seller or the product, it works as said (minus the 1600 lumens).
