Chucked right in the bin. The model was flimsy and there were pieces that didn't fit together at all. Hyper flimsy and would break apart with minimal effort. Don't get this....

Have fun remembering Star Wars

Not being a "Star Wars" fan or follower, this is a bit out of my element. However, for those who relished the out-of-world experiences brought forth by this genre, this might be just the item to tuck into your arsenal of remembrance items. Or more realistically, if you were a fan during the early years and are now a parent and want to share those experiences with your own crew, read on.....

This item is two-part in that it comprises a book with images that take you back to the episodes or movies and facts that tickle you mentally to recall. The major part of the item or book is a kit to punch out or use a crafting knife to cut out parts to put together your model of the Falcon ship.

I didn't take the kit apart since I'm not a "kit type person" and I think I'll pass this along to a grown grandson who has his own kiddie. Perhaps they will relish the challenge to construct the ship and travel through the universe in the mind trips aboard their mini Falcon.

Is it a good kit? I don't know. But it looks like a well put together product and I can't wait to pass it along to see what my folks make out of it and how it brings them back to the future.

The Millennium Falcon can now be yours! Not only that, you can learn about some of the famous fighters who had a chance to take the Falcon for a ride. Readers will find information about the characters and the history of this brilliant machine.

The handy guide inside the kit has photos and brief descriptions of weapons, various rescues operations, base evactuations, and so much more. There is also a maze for readers to navigate through along with detailed instructions on how to put the Millennium Falcon together. Star Wars enthusiasts of all ages will love adding this cool machine to their collection.

does not work, frustrating

First of all, this is definitely not appropriate for kids "7+" - I worked patiently with this and can tell you , please don't waste any time trying to put this together. It is so unstable that once you put one area together another area falls apart. And the pieces do this because the folding of the paper foam piece do not do so accurately. I hate giving up and didn't want to model that for my son but it didn't work and went to the garbage. Unless you were working with perhaps quick drying glue to make sure pieces stayed together, don't do this and find something better to do with your time!

Book is nice but the model kit is trash

The book which is about 16 pages is a nice read but the model is absolutely useless. Got it as a christmas present coz I am a huge fan. But the components in the kit cannot be folded without tearing and need to be held together by super glue that too even barely.
