F is for Free, as in the only way you should bother with this bookby GlttrGuitarAngel (2 out of 5 stars)

I thought there would be more of a variety of grade levels on these questions & answers and that I could use some to add some humor and examples of what not to answer in the elementary classroom, but most of these were high school/college level. This would have been great to see on facebook, pinterest, or even a free e-book, but buying it was a waste of money. There are only two questions & answers per page, so I read the whole book in like 20 minutes. They use maybe 4 or 5 different ink colors and handwriting which I guess is to make it look like they're photocopied from actual student answers, but I doubt that all these answers came from only a handful of students, and who uses a calligraphy pen to take an exam? I also have a suspicion that some of the answers may have been made up just for the book and weren't actual student answers. If you can borrow or somehow get this for free, go for it, it's good for a chuckle, but otherwise don't waste your money.
Jay Leno was right

Remember that Leno segment, where he quizzed people in public places - usually on some history or geography trivia? And how it was at once amusing and embarrassing to watch them fail miserably at the most basic of questions? Well, turns out those people, in their formative years, were the students featured in this book. And they were all very funny then.
This book is a gem, or rather a collection of gems. I recommend not reading it in one sitting, but flipping to a random page or two and getting your laughs. Guaranteed to elevate the crabbiest of moods, this book is a coffee-table essential, and can really get a dinner party going.
The banana car has definitely come to represent this book, but I assure you that the book is replete with even funnier examples.
Just to whet your appetite, from the "Business and Technology" section:
Q: What happens during a census?
A: During the census a man goes from door to door and increases the population.
I am very glad I bought this book, and very regretful that I did not become a federal census bureau employee.
Cute but short

Not really the best read. It is so short you can finish it in an hour. If you "Google" wrong test answers, you'll get far more results and at no cost. Not worth it.
IF YOU NEED TO LAUGH OUT LOUD...

One of the breeziest, easiest, books I've read in decades, Richard Benson's "F in Exams pb: The Very Best Totally Wrong Test Answers made me laugh out loud several times.
In addition, one unexpected bonus after finishing "F", I felt HOPE. The students who gave these answers were inantely witty, honest, sarcastic, and, in many cases, obviously going for "grins". And grin, I did. Often.
I actually remembered my times of staring blankly at test questions in High School in Buffalo, NY, USA, but I wasn't nearly as brave as these kids were - they actually WROTE DOWN exactly what they were thinking at the time of the test, grades be damned.
A few of my favorites:
SUBJECT - Chemistry
Question: What are the characteristics of crude oil?
Answer: Coarse and rude
SUBJECT - HISTORY
Question: What was the main industry in Persia?
Answer: Cats
SUBJECT: TECHNOLOGY
Question: Claire used good body language at a job interview. Can you think of three examples of good body language that Claire may have used?
Answer:
1) Pole Dancing
2) The moonwalk
3) The Bolero
As I stated, after reading "F", I now have HOPE in the younger generation. They have a great sense of humour, and that's key to growing up in this crazy world.
Good, But If not for the price, I would have been a little disappointed.

Don't get me wrong. This a an entertaining book. It's full of answers, intentional and unintentional, that students gave in exams, when they did not know the correct answers. It's just that the book is short. On my Kindle app for Android, I read it in less than an hour, with time to go back and re-read some of the funnier answers. There is perhaps a fine line between funny and repetitive, as the answers may get if you put too many of them, but I would surely have been disappointed had I paid list price, or even half-price, for the book. I paid $0.99 for the book, so I am certainly not complaining about the price. No sir.
The book is divided into seven topics: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Math, Business & Technology, Psychology, and History & Geography.
Hilarious!!

We buy several copies of this book (or one of the other similar books) every year and give one to each of our son's teachers for Christmas presents. It's much better than some candle or a random gift card. They really get a kick out of the entries, particularly because they've seen their own fair share of them.
I dare you to read a few pages and not laugh out loud.
Not much bang for your bucks.

This is intended for people who usually need reading glasses and written by an author or is either quite lazy or who just did not have enough material.
You probably have received a few emails that contained the very same things. This is funny, but it would fit on a simple email for the most part.
Decently Funny

While not quite the laugher I expected it's still a fun little book. Some of the answers in here in fact I thought a good part were fairly lame to just making me crack a smile and shake my head. Some very witty ones in there too though that I think were just as much answers retorting how stupid the question or subject was. Others you just wonder what's coming of our fellow humans consciousness. Some are funny simply because a misspelling or wrong word just makes the answer wrong. Not a bad book at all. It amused me fairly well for 30 to 45 minutes. I bought it on sale for 0.99 I most certainly wouldn't say it's worth full price. Buy on sale or if made free.

I bought this book for two people: my boyfriend and his little brother. My boyfriend was graduating from college, not too excited because he could not find a job (who can!?). I decided to get this book as part of his gifts and I am glad I did. It was VERY funny, and we were laughing our butts off. It is a quick read, and once you read it once, it kind of kills it to read it again, but I think it is worth it. We also decided to buy it for his little brother who was graduating high school, who is a wise guy/class clown. He also really enjoyed the book and him and his friends were laughing for hours.
Testtakers make errors

The book was no where near as funny or surprising as I expected. I chuckled a couple of times, but some "answers" were blatently intended to be funny, not a mistake, therefore not funny.
Not what I wanted.
